Personal best!
Today i decided to try a few exercises that i have not done since high school. One is running a mile and the other is pull ups. In Highschool my best mile time was in the 12 to 13 min range and my pullups…. i dont think ive ever did one
SO today i decided to see if i can run a mile non stop and do pull ups unassisted. Well im glad to say i was able to run a full mile without stopping in 10:07 im sure i coulda ran it a little better but im glad i was able to do it nonstop!! Then came the pullups ive avoided these because a few months back i tried to do them on the pull up machine and with about 150 lbs assisting i only did 6 before getting tired. Today i wanted to try my full body weight and i was able to pull off 5 in a row
I know this doesn’t seem like a big deal to a lot of people but ive never been able to do these 2 exercises ever before and im glad that im now in the shape to be able too do them… Now Im trying to figure out a way to incorporate them into my current workout

I feel you on the pull ups. I did a few on the door frame the other day. I haven’t done one since 5th grade.
