Today i decided to try a few exercises that i have not done since high school. One is running a mile and the other is pull ups. In Highschool my best mile time was in the 12 to 13 min range and my pullups…. i dont think ive ever did one :( SO today i decided to see if i can run a mile non stop and do pull ups unassisted. Well im glad to say i was able to run a full mile without stopping in 10:07 im sure i coulda ran it a little better but im glad i was able to do it nonstop!! Then came the pullups ive avoided these because a few months back i tried to do them on the pull up machine and with about 150 lbs assisting i only did 6 before getting tired. Today i wanted to try my full body weight and i was able to pull off 5 in a row :) I know this doesn’t seem like a big deal to a lot of people but ive never been able to do these 2 exercises ever before and im glad that im now in the shape to be able too do them… Now Im trying to figure out a way to incorporate them into my current workout :-D

This has been a long year but the best part about it is that i can see the finish line :) i was in the the mid 300’s about a year ago and now im in the low 200’s. I just realized im in the best shape of my life and im not stopping anytime soon. I’d like to give thanks to everyone that has supported me / given me advice, this site was a major inspiration for me to get healthier!!!

Little Slip up…

Ill keep this short my last 2 scheduled cheat days werent just "2" cheat days… they actually stretched a little longer than a day each :P and because of that i had to work out harder just to compensate. Im all for lifting and cardio but dam this was way to much this week…. so im going to pay more attention to what i eat on my cheat day from this point on :) I tripped up a little but I refuse to fall off the wagon ><

About 3 weeks in….
