3pm– And i am exhausted

I got sick yesterday and was down but I still have the kids and so I got up and did my thing, late but everything got done.  Now today is the same thing.  I just managed to get up and get dressed, feed the kids, clean the house andgo to the store for more cough drops and klennex.  That is it, jsut keeping it together.  I really want to work out but I am just spent lately.  i also have a 22 miles bike ride tomorrow, so I am resting up for that.  I hope I can get out of bed!  I am happy that I still made progress, I posted my measurements yesterday but haven; been in the mood for pics just yet.  Maybe tomorrow or Thursday.

The holidays are already haunting me as I am trying to stock up on halloween treats for the kids, but you know, I am a Choc-aholic so I have to be careful and I am not doing a very good job of it lately.  I have to stay focused or I am going to have to fight to get back to where I was.  There is no sense in giving up the that months worth of hard work.  like the FLY lady says, You are not behind just jump in where your at and DO IT!  I can;t get into that mentality that is I fall off the wagon, that I have lost the war.  I need to just take my lumps and get back up and keep on the Path.

HOMESCHOOL SEASON is on and my bloggin shows it!

lets see, it has been 2 weeks and I think I am finally going to get back to the gym, although I haven;t been sitting around by any means, just haven’t been lifting.  I started the FLY lady program and that has helped a lot and I think I am going to actually be able to work in my trips to the gym next week.  I decided just to cardio there and back.  I will have to up my protein.  This FLY Lady site is really awesome and gets me motivated about things I was putting off and also helps me have more time because I am more streamlined.  That means more time for me, and I am able to relax because I know everything is done!

i have decided that ice cream and Cherry Coke Zero are quickly becoming my arch nemesis’ and I have to nip that in the bud.  I took chocolate away and added CarbEase from Advocare and  I started getting ice cream and having cravings for soda (Chery Coke Zero is my fav).  Although wwe do not buy any soft drinks in the house, I  have an ice cream shop and a pharmacy across the street from my house that has the Coke.  So, it is TOO easy, and they started having Halloween Candy specials already which I buy to stock up for the trick-or-treaters.  But then it sits in the cupboard calling my friggin name.  Yeah.

The nice thing is that we started going on feild trips and t o Park Days with the other homeschoolers and this year the mileage on the bike is not an issue.  Last year I was still acclimating myself and I thought 6 miles was realy, REALLY far.  This week we did 22 miles on Wednesday and 11 miles last night.  I mave to figure out a better way to carry snacks though.  I have a small basket on the front and I am thinking of strapping a milk crate to the rack on the back.  I need to pull out the bungee cords and figure it out.  We don;t drive the Caravan anywhere anymore and even my bf has started biking to work.  He got hooked up with a NICE Fuji bike. It is not the most expensive, but we are not doing jumps or trick, you know?

So, either way, it is going in the right direction, we are just having to adjust fire with our ever exciting schedules.

Tape and weigh is tomorrow, I feel good but I doubt I have much progress this trip.

Nutrtion and Activity Aug 4-5th, Wow I haven’t blogged in like 4 days

I don;t know how I am going to remember everything, but here goes:

Aug 4th-

Meal 1:  Cooked barley-1 serving with Vanilla extract and chunky cut apples(skin on), Water

Meal 2:  Curve Protein Bar

Meal 3: Brown Rice, Sliced Carrtos, Sea Vegetable, Mushrooms, Red and White Cabbage–steamed, red sauteed in olive oil sea salt and black pepper.  Soy Milk 1 c.

Meal 4:  Popcorn(stovetop-veg. oil) with Sea Salt and Cholula Hot sauce WATER
Meal 5: Balance 100 calorie Bar WATER
Activity: Upper body lifting with Ab work(see Monday workout)–  Bike home from gym 12 miles WATER
Meal 6:  Double scoop of Cookies n’ Cream Soy 95 (GNC) shake made with Unsweetened Organic Soy Milk.

WATER

AUG 5th:

Meal 1:  2 Eggs, Rehydrate Drink

Activity:  Bike to Food 4 Less–2 miles WATER
Meal 2:  2 choc chip cookies WATER

Supps: Catalyst

Activity:   Bike to Los Alamitos Park w/ kids–Baby on my back) 11 miles
Meal 3:  Rice pudding 1/4 c. , 1/2 Cola, 1/3 roast beef sandwich on Bollio bread w/ a slice of processed cheese, fruit, a choc. chip cookie.(This is spread out over 3 hours time)

Activity:  Bike home from the park/ 11 miles

Supps took a Carb Ease because the kids wanted to go to McD’s, Thermo Plus

Meal 4:  Took the kids to mcD’s Playland!  MY SON WORKED sooo HARD TODAY!  i could resist and he wanted to go so bad.  Either way here goes….  1/3 Angus burger no bun, lettuce-wrapped. Scrapped the mayo off, wow they put a lot of mayo on!  Ewww…  1/4 of a Fry, 2 pcs. of cinnamon melt, a 1/2 coke.  One ice cream cone.

Supps: catalyst

TOOK MY ASS TO BED!  Holy crap i was exhausted after the last two days!
