I just wanted to add an additional comment to my daily blog of nutrition and activity. I did an longer run tonight and it felt really good. it is a rewarding feeling when you hear that voice in your head say , "Nah, don;t stop. you can do it, keep going, go, Go, GO!!!" Instead of the usual, " OMG, please just stop, that’s enough".
Tonight I didn’t have a speed goal , but I had a distance goal in mind. I called cadence the whole way and made all the dogs start barking but it was cool, it helps my breathing. I run with a Camelback and a fully loaded Under Armor backpack, so I get looks sometimes but I really, really, don’t care. Either way, I wanted to get to a certain street and if I felt good because i just kept on going on to the next street. And, I did it. I made it to the street and said, Keep going, this feels good, just go! it was nice. And then my man met me at the halfway ppint to pick me up. He was like, "Wow I am impressed. I can actually say you are the first person I have ever been with that I can say i am impressed and really mean it. " I think that is a good thing. *sigh* Hooah.

I was supposed to do my max reps today, this is the second attempt. But, again, my son got in trouble and my husband was busy and blah, blah, blah….TIRED. Just tired of it. I am NOT the priority in this family that is for sure. Tomorrow, i am going to the gym , I don’t care if someone is bleeding, HE IS GOING TO HAVE TO TAKE CARE OF IT. I mean, even getting him to cook is like, whatever! He thinks that nothing ever happens that makes it so that I can;t have dinner ready to go. I WISH. I just have to pre-plan and freeze some meals, so there are NO EXCUSES. And, so that my kids don’t have to go without eating something resembling food.

I am so freakin’ sore I can hardly get up and down off the computer chair, so I might as well, blog marathon today.
So the guy that owns the supp shop next to my gym turned me on to the Hyaluronic Acid. I have to do push-ups on my knuckles because of wrist pain (NOT because I am soooooo tough, yeah right). So, I have been doing pretty well since I started taking them, no miracles but I did feel better. I don’t wear my wrist braces so that is good, and I have been doing triceps dips and everything, so in my book, Winner. Another reason was that my man has a bed ankle injury that he got while he was in the Corps and it gives him a lot of pain, plus when he does elliptical he gets sore on the top of his ankle. Si I thought if they seems to work good(the supps) I’ll get some more for him.
Then I come to find out that Hyaluronic Acid will not absorb as well if you don’t take magnesium with it. I hate that. I usually a good at doing my research and I missed it on this one. Although I still feel like the product has been working, I feel like I threw some of my $$ down the drain not taking it properly. I could have absorbed it better! So, my calcium supp already has magnesium in it(400mg) and I will see if that is enough to cover the calcium and the Hyaluronic Acid. And then I will just have to take them together.
Any thoughts or experiences?
