I’ve started taking four scoops of rice protein powder at night with my ZMA. Dan recommended 60 grams, but that’s a lot of powder so I’ve been doing 48. I’ve read that the first four hours of sleep are when Human Growth Hormone is released, and when important muscle repairs occur. That process is apparently supported by the ingestion of a slow-burning protein just before sleep. Casein is the best kind, but of course it’s not vegan.
