Today I put up an olympic bar with a 45-pound plate on each side 5 times. It’s not a lot, but at least I don’t look like such a wimp on the bench press.
I’ve added Nutribiotic Vegan Rice Protein powder to my nutritional regimen. It has 12 grams of protein per heaping tablespoon, which is more than hemp or pea protein. It costs about $30.00 for a 90-serving container, which is pretty good. I don’t know how much protein there is in soy-based powders, but I’m not going to touch soy protein because I just don’t think it’s good for you.
I’m feeling good, and starting to appear bigger physically. I went to scratch my arm last night and I was surprised to feel a muscle there that hadn’t been sticking out before.
I’m going to do cardio on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I get shin splints really bad when I run for more than 15 minutes, so I’m going to stick to the elliptical machine. Right now I’m doing 25 minutes at Fat Burner level 10, with the same pre-workout nutrition I use for weightlifting days.
