OUCH!
October 3, 2007So, I am freakin’ sore from Monday and Tues workout… Went a little overboard on the cable crunch. I was excited because I’ve never done it before and I was feeling brave with the weights. I was trying to find a weight that was good enough for me and all seemed pretty easy. By my 6th (yes - SIXTH!) set, I was up to 120. It was all I could do to hold myself to the ground. I am only mildly sore from that, though (although I do feel it)… rather, it’s my BOOTY that is extremely painful!
Word of advice, don’t teach 20/20/20, do your regular workout, then teach a weight lifting class in the PM with the highlites of it as your SATURDAY workout! So I overtrained a little yesterday, today is bad. Not to mention that I forgot to drink Pineapple juice yesterday post-workout ( which is an anti-inflammatory without the meds!).
Even though it may not look it, my butt FEELS rock hard when I can actually manage to get out of the chair =)
And I lost 3 lbs since I signed up = ) YAY!
