protein shakes
When is the best time to take whey protein shakes? I work 2 jobs and when I don’t go the gym, I have one in the morning with a bowl of oatmeal and one in the evening before bedtime. When I do go, I have one in the morning, one after my workout, and one before bedtime.
Shuold I change this up? Or is it ok?

I would/do take a casein before bed.

There are always two sides to this discussion. It depends on your goals. Are you looking to add mass or drop fat and get cut? Most people say both.
The common recomendation seems to be to take 20grams within 15-30 minutes before your workout and 30-40grams immediately after a workout along with a fast digesting carb such as gatorade or white bread.
If you take proteing before bed, casein is the recommended choice.
Although the above tends to be the general rule, I’ve read contradictory information about post workout shakes but that tends to be more about the "cutting phase".
