Another week has passed and I’m getting the jitters. I’m wondering if I made enough progress and stupid stuff like that. I’m so set on coming in with a better package that sometimes I let this get the better of me. I’m happy with my progress but I am also my worse critic. I still have time so i will keep on striving. I’m sitting at 196lbs. and slowly coming down. I will bump heads with the Scivation Family and see what we come up with. I will do some major damage at The Presidential Cup. If I have to turn it up another notch than so be it. Its time for me to take my physique to the next level.

Overall this ha been a pretty good week for me. It did not start off good. OIt actually started with a scare. I worked late Monday, so I did Monday’s workout on Tuesday. I started out on my chest and on my last set of bench, I thought I slightly tore my upper left Pec. I managed to rack the weight but the pain was there. I’ve never had an injury like this before so it really freaked me out. I called my twin brother, seperated at birth, Semper27 from the boards here. He told me to calm down and not to worry. He adviced me to ice the pec and rest it. I did and by time it was time to hit chest again, there was a slight pain but nothing to keep me on the side lines. I lightened the load slightly and I’m being careful and listening to my body a little better. Other than that. The week has been great. I’m down a couple of pounds but more importantly, I’m more lean than I was at my 1st show already. Don’t let that statement fool you because I continue to train as if, I’m light years behind. For me conditioning will be key. From the constructive critism I get, I carry enough muscle, i just have to better my conditioning. For that reason, I’m not too concerned about my weight. To sum all of this up, my ulitmate goal is for the type of conditioning that Team X-treme Physique’s Natural Pro’s, Kurt Weidner and Brian Whitacre bring to the stage.

Another good week. I’m not sure what I’m weighing because I will not weigh until tomorrow morning. I will have another carb refeed tonight and it is needed. I’m a little flat right now but I will fill out tomorrow. I started to go heavier on my legs because my left knee has not been bothering me lately. This is great. I did ATG squats this wek and I have not done those since before my accident. That is a milestone for me. I will slowly work other things in. Hopefully front squats are around the corner. I started doing (2) 30 minute sessions 6 days a week instead of 45 minutes session post workout. One of the sessions I use the Stair Climber. I posted a couple new pics as Marc, the President of Scivation, asked that all members of BB.com that are planning on doing the NPC Carolina Clash to update every week. They are on my Bodyspace page and in my thread. I’m getting more excited by the minute. I’m actually already looking into a bulk that will start immediately after the Carolina Clash for next season. Well until next week be safe and keep lifting.

Let me start by saying Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers that may run across my blog. Now on to business. As the title states, I am currently 13 weeks out from the OCB Presidential Cup and I will continue to diet(with modifications of course) for another 10 weeks to do the NPC Carolina Clash. That means a total of 23 weeks of dieting. Can you say "Sliced and Diced". As some of may know, I am being sponsored by Scivation for these next shows. With that said, i would like to congratulate fellow Scivation sponsored athlete "Semper27" on his Light Heavyweight win at the 2007 NGA Heart Of America Natural Classic, last night. Scivation will be arranging my diet/training and adjusting as needed. I check in with them on a weekly basis and stay in constant contact via email and phone if need be. This is my 1st week back in contest prep mode. After taking a week off after my last show, I had to get back into gear. It took my body a couple of days to get back into the swing of things but by Thursday, I was my old self. The workout is totally different this last time. I don’t know if or when we will be making any changes. It was different so it gave my body a great shock. I started the week off very bloated and smooth. Thats what happens when you eat alot of carbs and I do mean alot!!! I weighed in at approx. 205lbs. I’m sure that alot of it was water. As of this A.M. I was sitting at 199lbs. This is after my weekly carb refeed. I’m not posting pics until I get 8 weeks out from my first show, so it should be a sight to see. I will however update my blog weekly every Saturday. Stay tuned for future updates.

Hey whats up people. I know that I have not posted in a couple of weeks and I apologize. If you did not know, I placed 2nd in Novice Short class and 3rd in Open Short class at my 1st show. It was an awesome experience as well as a learning one. I learned alot about my bronzer. Overall I was happy but nowhere near satisfied. On a good note I landed a sponsor for my next 2 shows, OCB Presidential Cup 11 Aug 2007 and likely NPC Carolina Clash 20 Oct 2007. I am now a Sciavtion athlete. The guys at Scivation are going out of their way to prepare me for these shows. I will be updating this every Saturday as I did in the past prep so please stay tuned because this should be interesting and fun!!!!

Whats up everyone. This is it, the week that it all must come together. I have my plan on paper and I go over it every morning to make sure that I do not miss anything. I will shave one last time on Monday, Exfoliate on Tuesday and 1 coat of tanner everyday until Saturday. I will wake up early Saturday to apply 1 coat of Dream Tan and I will apply 1 last coat about 1 hour prior to stepping on stage. I think I have it all mapped out. I definetly have my post show meal mapped out. Hopefully my next post will be one of celebration. Here we go.
P.S. If you want to follow me on a daily basis, I have a Log running at http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=2108311, with pics every morning and workouts.

Whats up everyone? I’m 2 weeks out and things are getting very exciting. A friend of mine, David Thomas, the winner of the 2006 Elite Muscle Classic Heavyweight JR’s class, is helping me with my posing. The guy is awesome and has some freaky huge legs. His wife is great and can spot an flaw in a pose in split seconds. In all, they are great people and very helpful. I’m posing everyday and training and diet is the same. I will make minor change to training this week but nothing serious. Cardio is still up and with great results. Currently I’m sitting at 200 lbs. and getting leaner by the day. I’m getting more and more anxious. I have everything packed up in my showtime bag and everything is in it except my exfoliater, tanner and bronzer. I expect them to be at my door either tomorrow or Tuesday.

Hey, I’m back with another week in the books and things are going great. Team Scivation changed my diet and routine a tad bit and i took to it real well. I’m running a daily log on the message board. I’ve started to work on my posing every day now. My posing is really hurting. I’m so excited tonight, Not only because I’m getting closer to my show but a board friend(Houze) is doing his first ever show today. I’m staying in good spirits although cardio is fairly high. My physique has done some chaning this last week and I’m hoping that it continue for the next 3 weeks. I will do all that I can and then it is up to the judges.

I’m 4 weeks out and more motivated than ever. I’m sitting at 205lbs and very happy. I’m sure that we are going to add in some HIIT for the final 4 weeks of prep. Its time to step it up a notch. My waist is shrinking and pretty soon it will vanish. I’m holding alot of water but I dont think that is a big deal being that I am so far out. If I were 1 week out, I would be worried. I will be taking all pics in my posing trunks from here until the stage. I plan to check with the promoters every week just to make sure that everything is still good to go. Its hard to believe that it is almost over. I will use everything that I learn from this prep and apply it to my future prep and hopefully make it easier and better. I’m already mapping out my next plan of attack. I updated some pics, so stop by and give me some critiques. Thanks once again for all the great support.

Whats up people? I’m back and the title tells it all. I’m still a little behind but made some adjustments and making great progress. I’m so anxious and ready to get on stage. I’m so focused right now that it is not even funny. The family had Krispy Kreme doughnuts for dessert a couple of days ago and it never even crossed my mind to touch them. Cardio is still up and I will be making some minor changes to it next week. I’m on an ALL AHEAD FORWARD course for the stage. I’m retaining a lot of water but this far out, I’m not concerned with it. I still have a tad bit of lower back fat but it is coming off. In my honest opinion, I will be ready to do battle.
