Something New & Something Old

June 3, 2007

Well I ordered some new stuff over the internet thru a company called illpumpyouup.com . My next supplement cycle should look something like this:

  • BSN CellMass
  • BSN No-Xplode
  • Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey Gold Standard
  • MHP T-Bomb II
  • ASN Testatropinol

All in all, it ran me about $189.00 dollars and should be here within 3-10 business days. I’m also starting to have a few small shakes through out the night.  I’ll keep you posted.

02JUNE07

June 1, 2007

Training this week was great! I got four good days of hard training in despite, the crazy week I had at work. Without going into to much detail, my job is getting ready to send me on a fifteen month vacation downrange. So, too say that things at work are pretty crazy right now would certainly be a understatement. Anyway, back to the good stuff! Like I said before, training went well and as for my diet, I didn’t have the time to write anything down but with over twenty some odd years of doing this, I know I eat pretty darn good! I also started drinking at least one shake right before bed and having another one, sometime during the night whenever I would wake up. I’ve been doing this for about a week now so I’ll let you know how that works out later. I’m still having a little problem shaking this sweet tooth of mine. Correct me if I ‘m wrong but it seems the older we get the stronger that crazing gets? Well that’s it for now so until next time, Keep Training!!

15 minuets of FAME

May 24, 2007

Hey all hope every one out there is doing well. Life here has been crazy! Missed the last three workouts due to work but heading straight there today and get back into it. Diet has been fairly decent. Although I haven’t had a lot of extra time to log my food or workouts in.   I was looking through this month Flex (May 07) and un-expectantly came across my own picture. Talk about crazy! Anyway, just thought I’d share that with anyone who’s interested. Later

May 5, 2007

Hey All, I know it has been a few weeks since I did once of these but work has really kept me busy! As you know from my last entry, I had just returned from an out of town field exercise and was hopping for a little down time. However, that unfortunately wasn’t the case. A few days after getting back, my boss informed me of new mission that was coming down and that I was on it. I had a week to prep for it but I wasn’t going to let that stop me from training. So, with a week to prep, I was off and running!  Since prep week was mostly a blur, I will not go into any detail other than to say that both training and went well.

TRAINING:   Training for this week went really well. I’m not sure if I’m just getting back into the swing of things or the new products (Size On & T-Boom II) I added to my supplement routine are working but I’ve had some really great workouts considering, the full day I’ve been putting in out here. The Gym I am going to here is top-notch facility

SANY0198-55.JPG

SANY0197-33.JPGDIET: For my diet, I would have to say that it was just ok. Sure, I brought as much food as I could carry

SANY0195-22.JPG

but being out in the field and having to eat army food, really puts a kink in trying to eat healthy. I was however, able do a food log of most of my days out here.

EXTRAS: Unlike to last field exercise I was on, I brought most of my supplements (see supplement list) with me, this time and I really think that played a major role in my workouts. Well that’s about it for now. I’ll try and keep this thing going as best as I can for those who are interested. P.S: It would be nice to hear from any of you who actually read this thing. If nothing more than to let me know that, I am not just wasting my time with this.So for now,

Keep Training!!

WEEK 3 (CRAZY WEEK)

April 13, 2007

WEEK #3
                                                                                      14 APR 07

TRAINING:  Training was pretty sparse this week. Between a crazy week at work and very sick wife, I didn’t get much training in. I trained Sun& Mon but missed the next three days. I was able to hit chest on Friday and plan on going into day for Legs.

NUTRITION: My diet didn’t fair much better. With everything being so crazy, I missed recording my intake for the last three days. I didn’t eat anything bad and I tried to adhere to my game plan, I just know if I got enough or too much of everything outlined in my program.

NEXT WEEK:  Next week doesn’t seem to get much better. I have to go out of town for a few days. Luckily, there’s a small gym where I’m going and I maybe able to sneak some time in. Nutrition wise, I’m not sure how that’s going to work. I know I’ll lose some weight while I’m gone but how much of it will be muscle vs. fat, I’m not sure.

See Yua next week ///Keep Training!!!

week 2

April 6, 2007

WEEK #2
                                                                                       08 APR 07

  TRAINING: Training is going well; I missed a few days but have managed to bounce back with out any problems. I’m still working on developing a set routine but over all, things are going well. As it looks right now, this is the routine I’ll be going with;

Day 1 Back & Calves

Day 2 Chest, Triceps  & Abs

Day 3 Off

Day 4 Quads, Hams & Calves

Day 5 Shoulders, Biceps & Abs

Day 6 Off

Day 6 should fall on a Saturday; I’ll either go one or two days off here. If it’s only one, It’ll be Sunday and I’ll use Saturday to hit any area I fill needs the extra attention.

NUTRITION: My diet is really coming back together. For me my focus will be primarily on the manipulation of my Carbs and Protein. I’m still working on getting it right but as it stands right now, I’m going with the following;

Day 1 (Sat) Junk day: (really high Carbs with a moderate amount of  Protein  & Fat)  (this days is not logged)

Day 2 (Sun)  Carbs: No more than 2g/per Body Weight (PBW) & Pro: No less than 1g PBW

Day 3  (Mon) Carbs: No more than 2g/per Body Weight (PBW) & Pro: No less than 1g PBW

Day 4 (Tue) Carbs: No more than 1.5g/per Body Weight (PBW) & Pro: No less than 2g PBW

Day 5  (Wed) Carbs: No more than 1g/per Body Weight (PBW) & Pro: No less than 2g PBW

Day 6  (Thur) Carbs: No more than 1g/per Body Weight (PBW) & Pro: No less than 2g PBW
Day 7 (Fri)
Carbs: No more than 100g for the day & Pro: No less than 2.5g PBW

Other than my cheat day, I think starting off at 2g PBW is high enough. Also, I’ll weight myself every Sat morning and use that as my PBW number. As I mentioned earlier, this is still a work in progress but this is what WK# 2 look like.

SAT: 31MAR07 Week #1:

March 31, 2007

TRAINING: Training went well my first week back. I did the following;

·        MON 26th : Shoulders, Traps & ABS

·        TUE: 27th:  Arms & Calves

·        WED 28th:  Off

·        THR 29th: Shoulders, Traps & ABS

·        FRI 29th  Legs & Calves

Yeah that’s right; I trained shoulders twice this week. Had a little but of a brain cramp and didn’t realize it till half way in to the work out.

NUTRITION: Other than trying to clean up my food intake, I didn’t really focus on counting calories this week. I’ll try to start recording what I eat next week. My intent is to manipulate my carbohydrates through out the week.

SUPPLEMENTS:  As for my supplement routine, I’m trying to keep it simple. The following is what I started on Monday; (See supplement section)

The Quest begins

March 23, 2007

My quest began today with Upper back and Traps! All in all, the workout was ok. Even though the amount of weight we use isn’t always as important as how we use it but I’d have to say that my numbers were a little low. I thought I’d entertain you by including some pictures of myself from the beginning. I hope you like it.
