Define Success!

I am hearing a lot of people talk about Thanksgiving and how it is going to kill their progress; or it will throw me off track; or that my family will laugh or what not if I exercise that day…. etc!  What a load!  IT IS ONE DAY!  Use it as your "cheat day"!  Fact is that success only comes before work in the dictionary!  If you want respect from family, success for yourself, and true results…  then forget about one day.  Take it in stride and rememeber that you control your outcome! 

 Some say it is a tradition….  yeah, and?!  In my house and around the country, there is also somehting called the Turkey Bowl, the Turkey Run, the Thanksgiving 10K, the TUrkey Trek, etc. (google it if you have been in hiding your whole friggin life!) THE SHEAR FACT IS THAT WE EXERCISE AND THEN EAT OR VICE VERSA!  Stop making excuses!

 I have a shirt from ROAR.  I saw a tag on it (very small and on the inside of the button flap) that says: "ENOUGH EXCUSES, JUST GET IT DONE!"

 as is my suggestion….

Need help! begging for direction….

Help me!

I have always been in decent shape.  I never really had to deal with time constraints and such.  I am now noticing that I am well out of shape.  I have no signs of definition anymore.  These are pics of me as I used to be and want to be again.  I used to work out for 3 hours a day sometimes.  Always had energy, etc.  Now…  as life happens I am finding less time available to work out, tighter scheduling for food, difficulty knowing what to eat, etc.  I am worried about heart and sugar problems from my family and I know I am starting to feel symptoms.  I am 31 and worried about my physical health, let alone the cruise I am going on in January…  so if anyone has suggestions or could help me with a diet and schedule, etc…  I am totally open to ideas at this point!
