So, I have been keeping my caloric intake at about 1950 (before I started my journey it was around 2560!). At Dec 31, 2008 I weighed in at 198.2 back at what I started at in Sep of 08. As of today I am at 191.6. I am really happy with the loss I have had. Almost 7 lbs. and I am just getting started. My goal for the month of January was to keep my food in check and to figure out when would be best for me to work out. My weight loss goal was for 4 lbs. to put me at 194.2. I beat that and now for february I want to lose another 4-6 lbs. I am going to start walk/jog on my lunch break since there is park area by my work for at least 30 mins every other day. Then try to up the time as I get better at it and maybe even cut the walking time. I am going to start with 2 mins brisk walk to 2 mins jogging and then move to 1 min brisk walk to 2 mins. jogging. I am also going to cut out a 100 calories in my day but try to add more veggies so that I still feel like I am eating the same portion size. I hope to be uploading new pics by the end of the month. Wish me luck!

So I just finished moving and got a new job and all the weight I lost came right back. I haven’t been to the gym in a while so Starting Today I am going back on my routine and hope that I don’t gain any weight over the holidays. I was able to keep my portions under control for Thanksgiving day but the rest of the days, I got too lazy. I am hoping to lose 2 lbs by Dec 31!

Well my son is sick I think with a cold and I am going to take him to the doc’s today and I am sick as well but with just a sore throat. My husband and I are taking turns staying up with our son. He’s nose gets so clogged up that he can’t breathe at night when laying flat or even slightly elevated. He starts to gasp for air and then gets really scared as to why he can’t breathe normally. Last night was my night and I got maybe 3 hours of sleep and tonight will be his night so hopefully I can get at least 7 hours. Hope this doesn’t throw my work outs to much out of whack. But will miss today.

I have been trying to keep up with my workouts and eating but the eating is a problem so far. I spend all my prep time making my sons food and then try to make my husband’s (j) food. Also my son doesn’t want j to put him to bed. He only wants me to do it. That makes my workouts hard since the daycare is only open 9-12. My son’s takes his first nap at 10:30am and we are trying to help his sleep pattern and our pediatrician said not to take car rides 1 hour before his nap and then he sleeps for 1 1/2 hours. That makes it impossible to go during the day and then at night j keeps coming up with reasons why not to go yet and then it gets so late that I can’t go. I am going to sit down and talk to him about it because I have made sacrifices for him. He gets to go to the gym MWF and meet with a personal trainer and we could really only afford one of us to go for 3 months and then we would try to switch off so that I could see a trainer later. Well I just wanted to write. I had a pretty good workout today so hopefully that will keep up~!
