Haters/ By Maya Angelou

A hater is someone who is jealous and envious and spends all their
time trying to make you look small so they can look tall.
They are very negative people to say the least. Nothing is ever
good enough!

When you make your mark, you will always attract some haters…

That’s why you have to be careful with whom you share your
blessings and your dreams, because some folk can’t handle seeing
you blessed…

It’s dangerous to be like somebody else… If God wanted you to be
like somebody else, He would have given you what He gave them! Right?

You never know what people have gone through to get what they
have…

The problem I have with haters is that they see my glory, but they
don’t know my story…

If the grass looks greener on the other side of the fence, you
can rest assured that the water bill is higher there too!

We’ve all got some haters among us!

Some people envy you because you can:
a) Have a relationship with God
b) Light up a room when you walk in
c) Start your own business
d) Tell a man/woman to hit the curb
(if he/she isn’t about the right thing)
e) you are a strong person and don’t let people run you over
f) you have a strong and loving marriage and they can’t get in-between
spouses to spoil it

Haters can’t stand to see you happy.
Haters will never want to see you succeed.
Most of our haters are people who are supposed to be
on our side (like some family and friends).

How do you handle your undercover haters?
You can handle these haters by:

1. Knowing who you are & who your true friends are
*(VERY IMPORTANT!!)

2. Having a purpose to your life: Purpose does not
mean having a job. You can have a job and still be
unfulfilled.

A purpose is having a clear sense of what God has called you to be.
Your purpose is not defined by what others think about you.

3. By remembering that what you have is by divine
prerogative and not human manipulation.

Fulfill your dreams! You only have one life to live…when its your
time to leave this earth, you want to be able to say, ‘I’ve lived my
life and fulfilled my dreams, Now I’m ready to go HOME!

When God gives you favor, you can tell your haters, ‘Don’t look at
me…Look at who is in charge of me…’

Pass this to all of your family & friends who you know are
not hating on you including the person who sent it to you.

If you don’t get it back, maybe you called somebody out!
Don’t worry about it, it’s not your problem, it’s theirs.
Just pray for them, that their life can be as fulfilled as
yours! Watch out for Haters…BUT most of all don’t become
a HATER!

Tank top in November

Forgot how very nice it is to still be able to go on my run in a tank top in November, here in Georgia. It was a beautiful, warmer day and I had a great 2 1/2 mile run…then afterwards some lovely Ab Ripper X;) Love this ab routine, as it is 16 minutes, but gets to the point! I’m still lovin’ Tony! I really feel like since I have upped my cardio, I’m starting to see ALOT more definition that I have been working so hard for the past 9 months..I’m staying busy, currently looking for a job, and counting down the months for my hubby to graduate…I’m so exited about where both our careers may lead us(hopefully the beach!…lol)

Thank YOU on Veterans Day

As a previous military wife of 6 years, I would just like to thank all our men/women that are currently serving, or have served in uniform. Also, to the ones who made the ultimate sacrifice and their families, for  this wonderful country of ours:( You are not forgotten…and I appreciate what you do/did that allows us the freedoms we have today. I honor you today, and every other day…..THANK YOU!

So I finally got to post my REALLY out of shape, chunk-o, post pregnancy progress pic. It is from 8 years ago after delivering my 3rd child. I was really actually exited to do this, cause it shows just how truly hard I have worked this past 8 years. Although, I didn’t have a weight problem before kids, it still shows me where "just letting it go" will get ya…..LOL

So all of you out there that struggle with choices everyday….have a look…if I did it, so can you:)

Got a 3 1/2 mile run in today..felt very nice..I’m figuring out that my pace is better when I DON’T bring my Ipod…that’s quite strange to me, as I LOVE my music, but it’s true nonetheless:) So guess I will be leaving it behind for cardio sessions now.

Read this today and just shook my head..WHO are they trying to sell clothes to? I can’t think of ONE person that I have EVER talked to, that would find this photoshopped image to be appealing….yuck. Firing size 4 models…what next?…..LOL

Beautiful Fall day in Georgia:)

You can’t get much more of a beautiful Fall day than today! Crisp, cool morning…blue, blue sky and the leaves are begining to change into their magnificent colors:) Not to mention the sweet smell of mountain laurel…that’s good stuff right there!

The kiddos were out of school today for Fall break, so they ventured out with me for my run. The rode their bikes while I ran 3 1/2 miles! I couldn’t believe I have improved so much on my runs in such a short time..not to mention, there are some KILLER hills(I’m talking straight up) in our neighborhood. I loved going with them…I left the ipod, and replaced it with my bike riding sweetpea’s;) Running with them made me keep a much more steady pace.

So today was cardio day and I’m off to do some core work…shoulders and back are feeling it from yesterday!

Rainy Wednesday..

Feeling encouraged and energetic again…I’m so glad to be feeling back to myself.. have actually lost weight on the scale, but am starting to think that was just muscle loss:( This time around I’m working on more sculpting tecniques, more so than bulking. Going strong this week..and I’m doing it all at home…got burnt out from the monotany(sp??)of the gym, so I canceled my membership, and am now doing it with my own equipment here. Lots of different variations..it’s been SOOO much funner, and I’m getting alot more sore, so I know that I’m doing something right!:) I’m going to start blogging my workouts each day(for reference for me), so I can go ahead and  tell you they are going to be BROAD and random…lol Just the way I like em’:)

Today I was off for my cardio, but got this quick, but very effective workout in…made sure to pay close attention to mind-to-muscle connection(which is hard for me to do at the gym because I get distracted easily)…guess I’m a loner…have never even liked to have work out with a partner…they distract me…..LOL I also took no rests in between sets….LOVED the burn!

Today’s mini workout:

Hammer Curls 4×20

Dumbell push ups 4×10

Weighted sit ups 4×20

Skull crushers(LOVE these, but are so easy to screw up without proper form..payed close attention to detail) 3×15

Bicycle Crunches 4×20

Cross Chest Dumbell 3×15

Dumbell Chest Press 3×15
