zimbabwe

heading off to zim in a week, the trip will last for 3 weeks and i have been really looking foward to it, BUT i have to admit i have a few reservations after the events of the last week or so,

i know everything will be ok, i have good people out there who would tell us if it was not a good idea to be there but i do wonder about going to a country that seems to be in meltdown, imposing ( though i know they dont see it that way)  on our freidns out there inthis time of uncertantity.

still go we shall because we have to, because there are people out there that are looking forward toourvisit, and because there is a little man who has no idea what surprises awit him at the end of  term…

incidently he came second in his school athletics meet…..if thats not a good reason to go, what is?

ok

so i split legs into two days, with quads on friday (had to skip wednesday cos of a doctors appointment)

still i figure ill be able to recover for monday’s class

  1. deep bar squats
  2. incline leg press
  3. lunge squats
  4. leg extn
  5. calf press

……..

ouch, quads felt like they where gonna explode….thats what il talking about……

 .

..

cept its monday

i need to teach a class tonight

still ouch! ( i hate stairs)

that’ll be me coaching from the floor then ;)

all change

ok, so im going away for an extended vacation to zimbabwe end of ths month, limit acceess to any gym and working to other peoples schedules, family freinds all wanna see uncl john, which is nice, but not condusive to a regular workout routine.

so as i approach the day we leave and im messing with stuff, seeing how it suits me, based on the principle that im just want to be in good shape for the pool (shallow i know) and be the best i can be… right now.

so i splt legs out into two days, moved ticeps and biceps to these two legs days (one each) then hit chest, back and shoulders on seperate short intense days.

 

i think my hamstrings are going to explode and no i cant reach the top shelf, my tricepes hurt too much and thank god for the electronic toothbrush.

its ony day two

 

today i have a day off

god this is fun
