ok so i got the guys at work (gym not office) to drag out the body fat analyzer, i got a reading of 17.7% on the crappy hand held wotsite and it pissedmye right off…iexpect to add alittel BF whist im tryin gto gain, but not that much.
so anyway i got a reading of 12.3, better, weight is constant and thats good also, now to build on these foundations
did back adn a little biceps before class, and felt good, smashed my feeble deadlift stat, which i also think was wrong but hey, whatever. plus went mentle on the Tbar row and bar row. back feels fine but my forearms where pumped to hell and back from holding onto the damn bar too tight (feeble grip see)
tonight im gonna do some light cardio and help my girlfriend who wants to get into competition shape

legs thursday, lets see if this feel good can last all week

typical day starts around 6am with brann cereal or oat juise and a protein shake
around 9 ill take a bagel with peanut butter and 2 amino tabs and fruit
around 11 tuna salad 2 aminos
around 2, a sandwhich or chicken salad beef wrap….sonethign like that plus a yoghurt, fruit,
between 3 and four im snacking on nuts or fruit to get my energy levels up plus my cellech
i leave for the gym around 3.30 get there about an hour later.
if im working ill not get out till 7.30 and after my workout, another protein shake
dinner around eight, usually fish, lean meat somethimes filled pasta.

today was a kick ass day. had an a verage day at the office but changed my diet, ate more carbs a few hours before my workout and took my celltech before i trained rather than after, slwitching it for the whey protein that i used to take in the afternoon.
end result i had a good day and felt like i had a lot more energy, for change.

last couple of days have been a struggle, work realted stuff been taking my focus away and i find im not a peace when i try to train.
yesterday i am acutely aware that i did not put my all into my squats and had to adjust my workout as equipment became unavailable so my focus slips a little more, its troubling but i guess its part of the whole cycle (of life) thing. Both my girlfriend and i feel it, its january, its cold dark and your broke, with little to look forward to until summer vacation, which in may case in march when we go to Africa for 3 weeks.
A question however. as i struggle on the seated leg press, (not my prefferd press, but the incline press was other wise engaged with a group intent on moving a few plates….note, moving not lifting, dont get me started there) a guy settles down next to me on the lat pull down, i swear he must have bathed in aftershave. i seriously had to stop and wait till he left so i could breath again….why?
as i said january and peace is not easily found, this weekend i may have to take my new toy out, bought myself a speed chute just after christmas and the forcast htis weekend is fine, now, need to find out if my local track is still being rennovated.

yesterday as I attempted to fire up during a shoulders tri workout i struggled with the feelings that, well, i was wasting my time. i try to eat right, i lift strict whilst trying to keep the weights heavy BUT i dont feel like im making any progress.
I’ll be the first to admit that im a body facist. have been ever since my skinny kid youth, getting everthing that the skinny little kid gets in school. i look at myself in the mirror and cant see and change for all the hard work, im fit ( physically) BUT there is little to show for all the reps, miles and sweat ive put in.
bad day in the office??? i dot feel like im over training, none of the classic symptoms but maybe im doing too much - eating the wrong stuff - or just need a change.
sigh /
maybe i can shake it off tonight…

friday is always a struggle day, especially after an all day meeting, however i pushed out a good day on chest and decided to work some additional time on saturday.
so saturday afternoon i hit bi’s and tri’s, alternating between the two, finished with 20 mins on the step- tread, for fun.
sunday coached te football team, week 2 of the preseason and im starting to get an idea who can take it and who cant.

teusday was back ad calves day. feel a lot better on the four dya rotation as opposed to last weeks madness,

took three days off after lest week. needed to recharge.
last night i revised my schedule and worked shouders and tris before teaching,

owkred in with an old client who acted as spotter, and it seemed to go ok, i have that satisifying ache you get after a good workout, not doms, just teh feel god ache

yesterday was a short day
just quads, and it was bad. thats bad - bad not bad-good. ive been doing way too much and as a result am to tired to train properly. couldn’t lift, or focus, and had to leave, after seeing the traner.
i tend to get stuck in the GYM mentality at the expense of everything else. as a result im OT and thats why i lost a few pounds over the last few weeks, i need to stop that
lift? hell yes,
grow? absolutely
but not 5 days, my life doesn’t allow for it (its just after 7.30am local and im in the office)
tonight sleep, rethink and revise my approach to achieveing my goals
