Working Hard!!!

well i am working hard towards my goal, just not sure when i am going to get there i have have been working out hard for 5 months now and been eating right for the same amount of time. I want to see all my abs, it is just a bitch to get rid of that lower ab fat. I have gone up on all my weight on all of my lifts, and have lost close to 20 pounds total, i am thinking that is pretty much all bf because i have gained so much strength. I know that abs are built by diet, but my diet is good. Does anyone have any pointers to get me past the wall. On a side note my wife wants me to help get into the gym, and kinda be her personal trainer, so i am excited to help here out, her first work out is tomorrow evening.

I started something new today!!!

I work as a landscaper; so the past week and a half in the aftermaths of Hurricane Ike have been really busy. My work outs have been pushed back about 2 hrs and so has my dinners. Today i decided to wake up at 5 in the morning and head to the gym. I think i am going to continue to do this, because there is far less people at 5 in the morning then there is at 7 or 8 at night. I got a good bi’s and tri’s workout in and got a shower and was at work by 7 on time. The only thing that i have to do better is prep time in the evenings, because it is hard to think about and get all the things you need when you are half asleep at 5 in the morning. my wife and I have been sleeping in the living room since Ike because we had some damage in out masterbedroom. So this morning i had to stumble around in the dark looking for all the things i needed. I dropped my vitamins this morning and woke her up. Well tonight i am am going to pack my bag and make my lunch so all i have to do is get dressed and make my protien shake in the morning.

Back in the Gym

September 18, 2008

Today was the first day back in the gym since Ike. I work as a landscaper so this week has been very hard, cutting up trees and hauling branches and limbs to the street and making piles so the city can pick them up. To say the least I am worn out. Well i decided even though i am worn out i need to make it back into the gym and get back into the swing of things. Well today was chest and back. i felt good on chest did a little more weight. My back on the other hand was a little weaker, i am thinking that it is because all of the hauling of heavy branches. Well i feel good now that i got a good work out in. Not planning on missing again. Now i have have to get my kitchen back on line. Kinda hard to do that since most stores dont have meat or well food.

IKe and my diet

Well Ike not only messed up my house and my yard he also has made it nearly impossible to eat 6 meals a day. And on top of not eating enough meals the food i am intaking is not very good. The stores don’t seem to keep the healthy food in stock. Been eating junk food and unhealthy carbs for the last few days. My protien intake has dropped from about 200grams to only about 100 or less. Hopefully soon life can get back to normal so all my hard work the last 3 or 4 months won’t go to waist. People please continue to pray for all the people in need.

IKe destroyed us

September 13, 2008

Hey well Ike rolled in and left a major path of destruction. he came hard all night. I was sitting in our screened in back porch while the winds started rollin in. We Got lots of wind not much rain maybe 3 or 4 inches. The destruction was left by a tornado that came down our street with wind in excess of 120 while sitting on my screened in back porch i watched the winds bend my large trees to the ground. I watched limbs snap and fall into the street. During the night i didn’t realize the destruction the like had left me. We decided to check the front door around 8 in the morning and found my front yard tree laying on my truck and my wifes trail blazer. we also saw lots of shingles ripped of the roof, and my attic vent was resting under the uprooted tree. So i decided to look in the attic and when i walked up the attic stairs and all i saw was daylight, when in a typically dark area. I saw rain falling on to the attic floor and i saw a gap in the what was once tight pieces of of plwood roof. About 4 pieces of plywood are completetly saturated and bowing in i hope we don’t get much more rain or my master bedroom roof may cave in. So as far as Ike You came and left in a hurry but you devistated many families in your path so and not saying goodbye its more like screw you!!!

So i am in Katy tx sittin at the house with my wife and one of my buddies waitin on Ike to get in and get out. We are praying that it doesnt hit us so hard. We are watching our old trees blow in the wind almost bending to the ground in the strong wind gust. We bought a bunch of michelob ultra but we are all carb conscious so we aren’t drinking the beer. Don’t want to ruin all the hard work

Hard to eat clean!!!

 It is so hard to eat clean when your life is as busy as mine, and with the job i have. I work as a landscaper so I am on the move all day. i have to pack an ice chest everyday to get my 5 meals in. Just not sure how much longer i can keep it up, i have seen a lot of results i just miss how easy life was when i was lazy and eating junk like fast food and pizza. I am going to keep on keeping my meals clean, but it is getting harder as my results are slowing down if anyone has any help or ideas let me know
