I can lift as heavy and as hard as I want, but I don’t feel the pump at the end unless I do a Century Mark. I remember the century mark from high school. At the end of my work out I pick an excerise and do it for a 100 reps. I have used medium weights but have to drop down once I hit 50. This excerise literally makes me want to cry! I have added it to my workouts since I have started back up. Both my workout partner and I both crying out loud and realizing the pump we get from it! I think I have made better gains in not just my lifts, but also my definition! Try it and tell me what you think!! Just make sure you pick a weight that is not to light.

The one thing that I hate about taking time off from lifting heavy is seeing that I lose some strength. In the break I increase my endurance and stamina. The best feeling though is having my body feeling great and wanting to get back into the lift.
The only thing that can put me in a bad mood is not being able to finish my workout because I get called into work. I feel like I am half assing myself. I feel like I have to make up for everything that I miss when I get a chance to go back in there. I have to stop myself so I don’t overtrain. What would be the reasonable amount of time to lift? I am not sure. Sometimes my body says keep going, but I know that if I keep going I won’t build anything. Have you been there?
