Ab exercises

Anyone have any suggestion for a really good lower ab exercise?  I am thinking of going back to hanging leg raises, but I find I swing too much.  I did leg raises with the exercise ball and matt tonight and they really hurt, I pushed my hips up a little at the top, that seemed to get them.  I have been doing the leg raises where you rest your arms and elbows (can’t remember the proper name) but sometimes I feel it in my hip flexors more so obviously I am not doing them right.

I like to do "jacknife" crunches, where as you do a normal crunch bring your knees up to meet your elbows, this works the full range of abd. muscles…real burner!!!

For lower abs try this one… keep your head, arms and back flat on the mat and raise your legs while brining your knees into your chest, then extend your legs back out and lower your heels until they almost hit the mat but don’t touch and then bring them back up and repeat.

    Hope this helps…
