I never thought that I’d hate Vicadin

So, my doctor has ordered me to stay on my butt for another week - not a great thing when I’ve got goals to reach.  Told me that I have chronic epidydimitis (Google it, but don’t look for pictures - you might see me there!) and that I can’t be up for a total of 2 weeks.  This used to happen to me at least twice, sometimes three times a year, but it’s been a full year since my last case.  I hate Lortab, when I used to love it.  Now, it’s just one more thing to slow my metabolism and keep me on my butt.  I’m really down.  I mean really, really down.  This is my Spring Break, so I don’t have to take time off from work, but we should be out playing with my family and I had planned on going balls out (pardon the expression) this week to make more gains and losses.  Did I mention that I’m really, really down?

Oh wow, sorry your so down! I’m going to have to do a google search as I dont know what epidydimitis is. I do know that the week I spent in the hospital (4 weeks ago) SUCKED and I was going nuts wanting to get back at diet and workout! So I can totally feel for ya on the down time thing!!

Chin up!! Once this passes (it sounds from your blog like it comes and goes?) you will be able to go ‘balls to the walls’ again!!

Big smile and energy hug from Canada!

Awwwwwww!! Hey dude, I’m so sorry!!! :( That sucls, especially on your spring break when you thought you’d be relaxing and having fun! :( I have no comforting words for you. :( But I completely know what it feels like to be down and out for the count for a while. I also hate vicodin. :(

Hey Troys - I can’t imgaine how tough it would be to stop working out, after you’ve made so much progress, but you can endure. Look where you were a year ago, and then remember you can do anything as you have proven that already. Even with that said it’s still gonna suck, but you can do it without getting too down. Good Luck. I read where Stormi missed 4 weeks - just imagine still looking like that after 4 weeks off!! :)

Ouch… I’m a chick but reading all that stuff made ME cringe at the thought of any ache down there!! I’m sorry to hear that you had to spend spring break like that, but I hope you recover from it soon. I hope you feel better soon… just wish I had something more comforting to say! :(

OUCH!! Yeah, SUCKS pretty much sums it up. Follow doctor’s orders, I you’ll recover in no time. Try to enjoy the time off–somehow. I know it can be difficult ;-( You will get back into the swing quick enough, and remember muscle memory–it really is true. I swear I get bigger real quick every single time that I take a couple of weeks off.

Alrighty then. Hope you’ve been resting. Feeling any better? Just wanted to check with you and see how it’s going?
