Today was a rest day for me. My training partner was held up last night so I didn’t get done lifting till late and as a result omitted calves this morning. Only being the first day I didn’t expect anything and haven’t seen much yet. I’m expecting to see two of the compounds start kicking in by the end of this first week (the 19-nor and halotest).
Hitting legs tomorrow.

Really makes me upset seeing this. I could go on a long rant about this, but just read it. Given the two ingredients they targeted, I doubt it will be long before more products get pulled. What really makes me mad though is this line:
"The FDA has no scientific information concerning the safety of the condemned products or their ingredients and, thus, cannot determine whether they represent a hazard to consumers."
Seriously, these are the idiots regulating us. The crap with professional sports isn’t helping either.

Tonight was back and triceps. I decided to take some pics pre-workout and post-workout to show its effects. I worked back first, so a little of the pump was lost by the time I got triceps done and drove home. Looking at things now the pics don’t entirely do it justice at these angles, but there are still some subtle differences. If nothing else, consider them progress pics and give me some feedback on it from that angle

After 3 weeks I’m up from roughly 6lbs and down slightly on the bodyfat finishing at 14.0%. New progress pics are posted in my profile. For the next few weeks I’ll be focusing on maintaining the 200lb+ mark and keep the training intensity high. I know I’m gonna need a lot more food to sustain and build more weight than this. That 225lb mark is reachable, but gonna be a lot of work to reach.

MHP makes some great products and I’ve always been a fan of Trac Xtreme-NO since I used it back a few years ago. So when I heard they were coming out with a new product I got pretty excited to see if it would rival or surpass its predecessor. The product is called Dark Rage I’ve tried it for two workouts now and I’m dead sold on it. I’ve tried quite a number of pre-workout products and I will honestly say that MHP is the only one that has been able to best itself. Plenty are good for energy from stimulants and a good thermogenic punch, and some give good pumps, but this puts it in a whole new category of performance. I tried it a couple days ago for shoulders and triceps then today for chest and biceps. The first time my workout partner was delayed so it was over an hour before we got to lifting but it still kicked in noticeably. Today I downed it about 35 minutes pre-workout and I haven’t has such a blood swell in my biceps for well over a year. I physically could not flex the dumbell past 90 degrees (this was only a 10lb dumbbell at the end of a drop set) there was so much pooled blood. Energy was high the whole time, fatigue was minimal and a faster recovery was noted, overall a fantastic product. From here on out I won’t be using any other products unless I feel the need to mix up what I give my body and revert to a tub of Full Blown Extreme for a round. I would highly suggest it to anyone who is training at a good intense moderate to high rep volume and wants the fullest swole pump possible.

Things have been going great. Up to 201lbs this morning at 14.6%. Still 1 week more to go, possibly 2. I’m excited!

After a year of homework and thought on it, I’ve decided to take on a run of Superdrol. For those who aren’t familiar with it, it is a very strong and harsh compound. There is a very good reason why cycles are limited to only a few weeks. Its becoming more and more common in a lot of new products I’ve seen and concerns me that a number of people I’ve talked to on it aren’t aware of just what they’re doing. Superdrol is not a prohormone, its a designer compound. I’m taking a number of protectant and support supplements, but still expect my post-cycle blood work to show elevated liver enzymes and my cholesterol to be shot. Does it work? Yes, but only when done right and these things are reversible. Anyhow, just a heads up on that.
3 weeks at 20mg/day is all I plan to do. Starting off with Arms today. Starting bodystats are 194.5lbs at 14.1%.

Last night’s workout was phenomenal! I haven’t been on any of my usual supps for two months so they kicked in full and hard last night! The NOS-FX alpha test was a disappointment, but that’s what they’re for. Some good things came from is, but I really missed not being able to get a full and sustained pump. So last night we hit arms, but back with my Full Blown Extreme, creatine, extra 40g complex carbs, 15g glutamine, and man did it make a difference! The new workout is also I believe my best arm workout I’ve put together to date. Courtney came with me on a whim and even she admitted that she liked it when all was said and done. More veins were poppin’ up than I’ve ever had and the swell was pretty ridiculous. I can’t wait for the rest of this week! Today I am still resting legs, however, since they were completely thrashed last week and have been excessively sore for nearly an entire week. Its worth it though to wake them up.
On a different note, UPS screwed up an order so my Superdrol will be delayed. No big deal. It’ll give me more time to get a little accustomed to this volume and fine tune the workouts a bit more. I have to change my back workout since I have a dozen new machines at my disposal that I didn’t have available before.

Last couple weeks have been spent trying to get settled and then the flu hit me early this week. I’ve basically only hit the gym twice in the last two weeks and I’m not happy about it. I know I need to rest and recover, but timing just sucks. I was on a really good roll and know I’ve got more ground to make up than I would like. The product testing, while good and fun, has me down because I’m off a number of other products I really enjoy and benefit from. I need to get through this all so I can fall back into my regiment.
Also have a job interview Monday. I hope I get it since it will not only be a better one, but it would be with another guy who works part time with me at Max Muscle. So with him, he also knows its no big deal to have to stop and eat something every few hours. Right now my primary job doesn’t allow me to get my meals in on a schedule. It would also give me more time to invest in my personal business and once that’s going I won’t need the primary job and be free to work from home and eat on my own clock.
So, that’s all that’s new with me. Hoping today and tomorrow get me up to 100% where I need to be and Monday the weights will get some throwin’ time.
