Tell Me Your Thoughts…
I’m curious how the rest of you view things that the general population seems to have double standards on. At what point does one in efforts to have the competitive edge become a cheater? Where is the line between sport and competition? Effort and determination versus whatever it takes? Dedication or obsession? On what grounds do you base your stance? I have my own opinions, but I’m just curious to hear some other peoples’ takes on it all.
In case you’re wondering, I was discussing the film Bigger, Stronger, Faster with someone recently and it got the gears turning again. Its an excellent film that everyone should see just to make them think a little.

I think anytime you step outside the rules you’re a cheater. If the rules said you could not use creatine then you would have to respect that and not use creatine . Even though you know if used properly it wouldn’t cause you any adverse effects and that it would give you the results you’re after if you use it and the rules forbid it you’re a cheater.

I feel if you want to compete or play a particular sport, you should respect that particular organizations rules. On the other hand, if steroids weren’t totally illegal, then you would have the benefit of using under the care of a doctor. Rules are made because some people are too arrogant to educate themselves about what they are putting into their bodies. In doing so, they get sick, they develop mental disorders, and in some cases, they die. Steroids in high school is a problem now but we should all know that there is not ONE high school kid that should be on the juice. My thought is this. Put what you want in your body as long as you are educated about it and understand the side affects or consequences. If you play sports or compete, respect the rules set by the organization. And lastly, find a doctor that will monitor you safely.

Umm… it’s only illegal if you get caught. That being said, do everything you possibly can naturally before taking it to the next level. And, like in the movie, "is it still ‘cheating’ if everyone’s doing it?" But you know well my stance, dear
