For lifting days I’m adding 20g Max ACM to post-workout shake (Blend of waxy maize, maltodextrin, and trehalose) and changing out the protein cookie for 2 cups of green beans with lunch. Non-lifting days I’m pulling the carbs from my first shake so its just protein and fiber. I’m keeping the protein cookies in on the off days since they’re the coffee flavors and have a little caffeine, since I won’t be taking the Methyl Ripped Hardcore on off days.

Took 2 hours to get through this workout and I’m feeling it already. Can’t say I’m feeling it where I expected to, but I’ll take that as a good thing in that areas that are usually recruited less had to be brought in to get through the sets. I’m gonna be hurtin’ tomorrow…

Started the new FST-7 workout today and I absolutely love it! The sets of 7 give a marvelous pump and I can honestly say I don’t think my biceps have ever been swollen to that degree. So, the idea of stretching the fascia definitely works! The only exercise I plan to switch out are French Curls. I just didn’t get a good pump off of them, though the triceps did fatigue. Most likely I’ll switch to cable pushdowns as those are always a guaranteed pump inducer. Otherwise the workout was great! I have a better idea where I’m at now, so since arms are his twice a week they should be good and thrashed when they get hit later this week. Can’t wait to try the next workouts, though I’m a bit concerned about how I’m going to be able to walk, much less drive home, after legs tomorrow since I have a manual…

So, I went on a keto diet the first 2 weeks of this month. I’m adding carbs back in, but still keeping the calories low. Today I took my stats after progress and am thrilled with the results! At the start, I was 206@14.1%. Today I’m 189@11.2%. Here are some before and after pics:

No gym, got replaced with a conversation that was left unresolved and both myself and GJ less than in a good mood. I can’t speak for her, but I know I’m frustrated with a few things in life presently. When she left for work I found myself too upset to get a good workout in. I know all I would have done is lifted too hard and exhausted myself to be useless at work later. Instead I just played some Xbox and took out my frustration on little pixelated terrorists on Mercenaries for a while. Good thing my character in the game has a sense of humor and his random comments always make me grin. I’m feeling a bit better now, but not completely.
For those of you who haven’t seen the November issue of MD yet, its a good one this month. Sure, a lot of articles were written pre-olympia and are innaccurate given Dexter’s win, but otherwise its good. I really liked the issue with Branch and Trish Warren. Really, their lives are like the dream one I’ve wanted ever since I got into fitness. Maybe some day I’ll be lucky enough for it to actually happen.

Finally caught up on enough sleep that my body work itself up right on time. The headache is also gone, though I’m still not holding much water. I know I’m very carb depleted right now. Sunday can’t come soon enough!
This morning I’m still at 12% but down weight to 191 lbs. Hitting back/chest this morning and then resting for the weekend.
