Two Weeks ’til competition

I have finished my build phase. I am going to take the next two weeks as rip down diet weeks. I was pretty pleased with my build phase. While I weighed myself at 136 yesterday, I had weighed up to 139 earlier in the week (that is the most I have ever weighted in my life). A little over a week ago I dropped off of creatine as it was bothering my sleep too much. My arms tend to "fall asleep" and go numb, not good. So, I expected to loose a bit of water weight and I think I have done that. I gained around five pounds, maybe three as muscle during this recent six week build phase. My body fat slowly creeped up to 10%. During the next two weeks, I wanted to get down to 6% body fat. According to the math, that would mean I would drop down to about 130 lbs. That’s a fair bit of weight to lose even with Hydroxycut and CLA. I am also taking HMB to try to preserve the muscle. I plan on fasting for three days starting next Friday. It isn’t exactly fun doing that, but I have lost a lot of weight in the past while fasting.

I wouldnt do a total fast, i would do 0 carbs and high protein for 3 days then bring the carbs back in slowly, and keep the water really high, this will PREVENT the water from retaining. Just my personal suggestion, good luck bud, lookin ripped!

No matter how you look at it, starving yourself isn’t a good thing to do. Pitbull has the better suggestion. I’m 18 weeks out from my show and starting to slowly diet down. Good luck in your show, though! :)

That’s a good thought pitbull. Definitely more appealing than a total fast. I imagine that you are probably talking about chicken breast, some pro that is really lean also.

18 weeks is a long pull for a ‘calorie restricted’ diet. I magine that what you are saying is that you are very precise in what you are eating.
