I have some mass confusion going on right now. Heres the story. One month ago, I went in for my BMI testing. The trainer did it it with a caliper pen and paper. After all was said and done, I average around 13% body fat. I could understand been off for a year and in/ out of the hospital, so I didn t think it was too out of line. On 4/16/09, I went in again for a BMI test at a different location. They use a polar fit test machine "I don’t remember the name" which uses a caliper that is linked to the computer, a grip test and a reach test. With the caliper, the trainer pinched me in two spots, one on the side hip and on on the top of my thigh. The end result the computer spit out was that I am 7.2% body fat. Can anyone shed some light on this subject.
