So I met with a trainer (tim) at my gym today about prepping for my first contest…Why, cause im confused as a fish with titties!!! SO much advice so much to read, so I figured I get some one on one with an experienced person. Tim was great. Turns out he is a former boxer and strength and conditioning coach. He is also part of a bodybuilding team. This is my first official step to championship!!! (i hope). Its on and poppin’!!!!

so im noticing the stretch marks right in the are where my shoulder and chest connect…almost in the underarm crevice…not happy…ive been rubbing cream on it, but still not pretty…even moreso, not getting better……being the wik(ipedia) master that i am, i did some research…wik says that they are caused by rapid growth during bodybuilding or weight loss, causing stretching of the skin ….must be the growth, cause i have not lost anything and even still, if it is growth, im not that big…..wik also said they are attributed to steroid use…ive never touched a roid in my life..hell i can barely stand whey protein….i look like i do because of hard work and my genes!!! (thank you very much)…..anybody with any suggestions on how to get rid of them…..other than me getting a nice tattoo on both sides to cover them up…and what about the ones on my ass cheeks…ive heard that most black men have those….bruthas, is this true??

Anyone with solutions for getting rid of Stretch marks…I have them in the area of my upper peck/shoulder/underarm…and also notice some in the glutes area….i bought some Palmer’s massage lotion which suggested for women after/during pregnancy….i know some folks get them, some folks dont…but i dont want them to get out of control, if they arent already….I attribute some of them to me being a gymnast as a kid…and they have been there for a while.

this is late…but hey im still feeling it…friday i decided to up it a little on my trap exercises…i kinda feel they are one of my lacking body parts (insert calves and back here, too)…so i went up on all my shrugs, dumb and bar, and upright rows…i woke up satruday feeling like Atlas…as if I had carried the world on my shoulders…i know its impossible and ridiculous to say, but i think i got traps overnite on saturday…lol..at least it feels that way!!! even on Monday morning.

it was tough
i usually ‘cheat’ on weekends
i say ‘cheat’ cause im not trying to compete
yet
just challenging myself
but, anyways
i managed to stay away from the usual weekend foods
fries, pizza, etc
ate green salads, with chicken, walnuts
and dressing (oil based, no creams) on the side
its amazing to see restaurant staff laugh at my requests
‘can you supersize the appetizer salad
and add chicken breast and salad dressing on the side’
and
‘does that come REAL whole grain bread’
some places accomodate
no alcohol at all
i dont really drink anything but water anyway
i did have a red bull - yuk!
never again
back to the grind
going to miami in mid-july
birthday 33!

i checked his leg routine/video on muscular development…Yikes! and this was after a competition…definitely want quads/hams/glutes/calves like that…solid!
also rifles33….for an 18 year old, this kid has some solid arms and a very good back….
BB.COM is becoming one of my favorite sites on the web..almost better than CNN.COM with their half-truths….just kidding…but im finding that the media outlets today arent always truthful and they are fastly becoming peppered with pop culture as breaking news…since when did Lindsay Lohan’s DUI become breaking news…oh well, i guess it could be seen as a way for me to teach my young niece not to drink and drive!
anyways BB.COM is on my favorites and will remain there!

I feel like a pig…one that has been digging for truffles…chocolate truffles…I fell off the wagon a lil bit in February..partly because of valentines day and all these snow days that kept me trapped inside….i have remained active by going to the gym, but my snack consumption was awful…i was eating chocolates, all kinds of chips, and cookies…and making no excuses about it…and the funny thing is, when you are in shape and some of your friends arent, doenst help…they dont help you resist the junk….they just say stuff like "oh one cookie wont hurt ya"…like who the hell eats one chocolate chip cookie..or one potato chip…or one hershey kiss…haha…
well to get back on the wagon, at the grocery store last nite i made an effort to buy only healthy snacks…more nuts and fruits…no chips this time..not event the organic ones…no chocolate/yogurt covered raisins, and no more cookie dough….i dont care who is coming over and being trapped in the snow with me…no more…in fact, everytime i pop in a dvd on a snow day, im gonna do some crunches or push ups…or perhaps, eat an apple! and they will too!

Recently I asked for some feedback on my user gallery… I was quite disappointed in all the 10s i got for what i know is not a 10 on my posts..especiallyw hen i have seen some 10s on the site….im happy for the feedback, dont get me wrong….but i want some honesty.
Then along came RuggerLifter…he broke me down…had me looking at my pics again…his words:
- No doubt man. Overall a great package man, here is what I see:Are you bulking up or cutting down right now?
From the rear I would say you have an imbalance in your upper lats, the right side looks slightly disproportionate to the left. Your triceps are tone, but they could use more mass, and your biceps could use more peak. Your traps are another area that needs work, they need to balance with your great side deltoid development.
The chest looks like it has improved a lot. Great separation however your pecs could be much rounder and fuller. Make sure you are including both declines and inclines and getting a finishing move in like cable flys. You can really see the need for traps in the front as your HUGE front delts peak nice and high but they taper off reaching your traps. Get that neck looking thick with shrugs and dead lifts.
I don’t really need to say much about the legs. I’m sure you already know. They are getting better however you need separation, striations, and overall mass. You got yo self looking huge on top and small on the bottom. I would be hitting the wheels twice a week doing one workout for hams, one for quads.
I would be focusing on leg work primarily, then lats, biceps, and traps in that order.
Sorry if I was hypercritical, as lord knows I have much to work on myself. I hope that helps and hit me if you got any questions and I will do the same at u.
