when travelling and not having the equiment your used to at hand its a good idea to know body weight exercises. If you go to the supersite tab at the top you can search exercises and pick bodyweight only in the dropdown menu. I went through there and wrote out a couple routines and I just keep it in the flap of my suitcase. So it’s always there for reference.

When I got deployed in ‘03 it was at the start of the iraq war, and there weren’t any weights. I made a home gym out of tools for the tank, water jugs, and I also made a bench out of a cot with mre boxes on top to give me more range of motion in my excercises. I was able to shed a ton of fat and gain lots of muscle in just a couple months by doing this.
Also, when I had a break in service I enrolled at a gym called "LA Fitness". It was $99 to enroll, and $30 a month. it was a month-to-month membership so I was able to cancel when I wanted instead of doing a contract and not being able to break it without paying some crazy fee. Most gyms are around the $25-$35 per month range.
Hope this helped.
