Today I walked 7 miles and I feel great! I am able to walk without getting extremely tired so I am hoping I can go even farther or either walk faster. Right now 7 miles takes 2hrs. I am going to try for 10 miles once this week. I love the way i feel when I walk it is a time to relax and talk to God. Life can be so stressful sometimes. When I strap on the weight vest and pedometer, put on my ipod and listen to music, it truly gives me joy.
My workout was
7.1 miles, 16,000 steps, 1000 cals, 2hrs.
I will post pictures of my progress I would love encouragement.

Im about to go on a long walk I want to go farther than last week. I went 6.1 miles last week. Hopefully I can go 8 or 9 today. I have had my protein shake this morning with 50g of protein about 250 cals to a two bites of yams for some extra energy. Go Trell Go!
I’ll post my results when I return.
I just got back from my walk and I am sore! I ended up walking 7.1miles,15,948 steps, 948 cals b/c of 30lb weighted vest, and it took 2 hrs exactly. The weighted vest and a pedometer is the best combination to have! As you lose weight you burn less calories doing the same workout, that’s why you have to increase yuor workouts to get better results. The weighted vest makes that easy by adding weight to the vest you can kepp doing the same workout and get better results. It’s great.
I did bicep curls, tricep extensions, arm circles and punches while I walked. I used 2lb weights. When I got home I drank a protein shake 260 cals and ate some yams 250 cals about

I want to get serious about my health and hopefully documenting in this community will help. today I did a 3 mile walk with a 50 lb vest. I tell you the truth. The vest is great! I just feel the fat melting and my muscles toning with every step.
What are some of your best workouts?

I am getting hung up on my transformation. It is not coming along as quickly as I would like. I’ll do really well at the beginning of the week and then it will go down from there. By the weekend I am in full blown destructive mode, brownies, pasta, bread you name it.
Hopefully these daily blogs will help. I will also have progress pictures every two weeks. I could really use some encouragement.
