I was away taking my boards so that I can practice Chiropractic. I was gone for some time but i have been maintaining. Now I am ready to take it to another level. I have realized that it is not who get’s there the fastest but the one who can stay up the longest. Slowly I am making lifestyle changes for the better. I am no longer interested in the get lean quick method because that just causes me to flucuate in weight and i don’t want to do that anymore. Today, I am doing a intense kettlebell work out. If you are interested in Kettlebells please check out Rhodan, he is great at Kettlebells and techniques!

So my Boyfriend took my car for the weekend and he hasn’t come back yet. i wonder where he is. I am trying to be more aware of my ego in situations so that I can live in peace. T not coming home has been a great exercise in my spiritual growth. i am excepting him for who he is and giving both him and myself room for growth, Room for God. I decided today will be a day to relax and workout when it is revealed to me to workout I did some kettlebells, pilates, and medicine ball crunches nothing too extreme but at least working out. That is my mission for myself, that no matter what I will work out. I will allow space for growth with my eating and discipline. I will not resist change i will embrace it. Yea God!

My aunt died this week and that shook me up for a little bit because I am so close with my cousin and i don’t want to see him go through pain. So I was watching Oprah and listening to people talk about The New Earth, a book written by Eckhart Tolle. At first I told myself i wasn’t going to read it b/c I know my God and I know my relationship to God. I realized that anything that helps you to be with God fully makes room for growth. Anyways, how does this apply to my workout. Well I used and exercise inspired from the book. i went on a walk for about 9 miles and on the walk i experienced my environment. the tree, their texture, the way they reach up to God in praise. The buds and flowers. What type of tree am i or what type of tree are my family members, I was a truly wonderful and purely enjoyable feeling! I went for 19014 steps and 1158.5 calories. God is Great. Make room for God.

Last week I was tues 9.3 miles, monday 3 miles, went to the gym on thursday b/c it was raining outside. I did 50min of cardio and some weight training. I need to be more disciplined about my weights and eating. On Sunday I walked for and hour and 10 minutes with 30 pounds(4miles)…16mile week. I am trying to move faster because quickness out weighs distance so hopefully I will be jogging more in the nest couple of weeks. i got sick on thursday and friday. That sucks. Hopefully i will have some more pics soon. Monday I went to the gym and changed it up with the stair climber for 20min, elliptical for 25, and the row for the last 15 min. I did some pilates and ab work then i hit the weights. I am getting more consistant with my workouts but once again the eating is a hard thing to conquer. Better luck tomorrow!
Go me!

I did another big walk today with the weight vest.i went 9.3miles, 2hrs40mins I did not have my pedometer so i am not sure the steps and calories.I have realize that the reason I have not progressed farther has everything to do with my mind! I was an extreme athlete in track and field, i did the heptathlon and triple jump. I am not a person who can just workout for thirty minutes I wish. i have to push myself to the limit, to exhaustion at that place(exhaustion) comes my power that is where God tells me I ‘ve got you and all things are truly possible. On my walk today God told me that He is truly committed to giving me the desires of my heart: strong and healthy at 160lbs, great relationships, Peace, love, joy, a successful Chiropractic carreer and most of all the ultimate relationship with God including unwavering trust, faith and obedience.
He told me that it is time for some organization and goal setting. He said He will not forsake me. I am ready!

I had a late night last night. I stayed up for no reason really. I guess i was feeling down. I went for a walk earlier that day to clear my head and the walk was great but when I got home I was like I deserve a reward for my hard work so i got a bottle of wine and pasta. I know, I know not good. That is my main problem I need to reprogram my mind into realizing that wine and pasta are harmful not Good or rewarding. I paid for it the next day with a head ache and over all cloudiness. I almost didn’t work out but i know that two wrongs don’t make a right. So today
I went walking for 5 miles I only wore the weighted vest for 40 mins, 5300 steps, 2.5 miles 345 cals and then walked the rest of the way without the vest 50 min, 5593 steps, 2.6 miles, 306 cals.
