I asked the trainer at the gym to take my bodyfat using the calipers. He is not my trainer but is very knowledgeable. He has competed for many years and knows his stuff. He measured the biceps, triceps, belly, and back. Unfortunately it was much worse than I thought! He told me 24.5! My bodyfat scale tells me 17.5 this morning and it was a shock to hear that. I was very upset and wanted to cry because of that. Now I know I really have to work my butt off on cardio!

Yesterday was exactly 5 weeks before my contest! I have had some bad things go on. The person who was supposed to help me backsatge can’t come! Ugh… Kind of sux! But I am losing weight and body fat and not losing muscle which I am happy about. I am still taking the dialene and it appears to be helping b/c the bodyfat is coming off. I am killing in cardio. I can’t wait till I can have some pasta. lol

I need some help. Please help me build my lats! I have tried pull downs, reverse pull downs, rows… please! I have had people suggest things but they are not helping.
Today was a low carb day and it was sooo crazy. I, for the first time, feel the effects of not eating carbs. My workout sucked! I could not get the normal weight and cardio I died I swear! Any suggestions on how to overcome the low on low-carb days?

I am slowly losing bodyfat and weight. Kind of scared I might not get down far enough. I got into a car accident Friday morning. I am ok and so is the car, someone was tailgating and rear ended me! I started high-low days this week yesterday was a low day today is high. In two weeks I am going to alter my suit so the straps that cross in the back are not to large. I am going to start tanning on the 23rd of this month. I have everything set up so little stress on that part. Not looking forward to valentine’s day because I can’t eat any candy and don’t have a boyfriend. lol I am trying to just focus on this competition and my teaching right now.

This week was the toughest week i swear! I missed 2 days of gym one because I worked both jobs and then one because of the damn weather. I need to get there everyday this week! No more rice in my diet high day-low day starts next Saturday. I kind of can’t wait I really want to see weight come off and for the bodyfat to come down more. 6 weeks and 5 days now. It is crazy! I tried to get a room in the host hotel and it was all booked so I had to book one down the road which is prolly gonna be about 100 bucks more! But I am glad I have a room to stay! I have madeĀ my 2 appointments for tanning the night before and I have my appointment for my polygraph test. I now have everything set and just have to arrive and make sure I get on this diet!

It is now 7 weeks before my competition. I have gone down to 18% body fat now. It was a surprise to me a little to lose so much but even stricter on the diet. Hips are also down. Met 2 of my goals so far! Yea!

I posted new stats. I feel like I am not losing fast enough. I do have about 7 weeks and 2 days left before the competition. I want everyone to wish me luck. I will be doing bikini model where I just get a trophy but no money or any contract or anything. Then I will be doing the figure class also which I can get a trophy and if I win overall I can get my pro card and compete for money. New stats will probably be posted again this weekend! Hopefully the body fat and weight comes down more!

It is now down to almost 8 weeks. Saturday, January 24th will be 8 weeks. I delayed in posting my stats b/c I was really sick over the weekend. I also waited because I was angry at myself because I gained 1.5% bodyfat! How did it happen? Letting myself slip into eating a lunch, one lunch, that was not good at all for me! Then Saturday I was really sick, I could barely work. I sat on a stool at work in front of a computer and did what I could there. Now usually I have to walk around from bay o bay getting drugs and things (pharmacy technician). I had a chocolate bar and only shared one piece! Ugh! But I have done better since then. The dialene is good as long as you take it with food. DO NOT take it on an empty stomache it will cause severe indigestion and belly aches! But soon I will be posting more stats. I take them every Saturday!

I started a new fat burner today called dialene. I have noticed an increase in energy. T hestrict diet kicks my butt so this hopefully will kick the fat! I am halfway through my 3rd week. It has been easy so far! If I go out to eat I get a salad with NO dressing and either turky or chicken breast on it! Very excited now that I have decided to cross over into the Best body/bikini portion. It will just be a little more work for me but possibly 2 trophies? Yes! 9 weeks till competition this Saturday! Getting nervous b/c I have been having some pain in my ankle and fear that it will hinder my walk for figure? We will have to see. I did 15 minutes on the elliptical today in hopes that it would not be as bad as on the treadmill. Well ’till next time…. good luck in all you do and thanks for reading my blog!

Wow, two weeks of dieting down 10 more to go!!! It has been tough this time. I am trying to be super strict! I have been considering crossing over to do best body forĀ the INBF. I am all ready doing figure. So not sure if I would like to crossover, I would like some opinions on it? I was sick yesterday, I think from some onions I had on my salad. But I am better now. Today was my only rest day this week and I had to work! Tomorrow is chest and triceps. Can’t wait to work out tomorrow. I hae been sooo exhausted because of the diet and working two jobs and working out! Hopefully it will get easier closer to competition because then I have to prepare less for food lol.
