First workout with new trainer …
Had a great night tonight with my first workout under the supervision of the new trainer. Wow, very cool. I’m going to like it and really benefit from it. You just don’t realize all the little bad things you might be doing with your form until someone works with you to point them out.
We worked with just four of the core lifts tonight … deadlifts, squats, bench press and standing military press. Feel like I came away with some great information and inspiration to make this happen. The military press was pretty substantial, and the squats ended up hitting my legs hard enough that I’m feeling it now. I’ll be able to go heavier on the deadlifts I’m sure. Actually kind of enjoyed doing them.
Lots to look forward to over the coming weeks. Each little step is movement in the right direction and one step closer to reaching another goal.

The deadlifts are crucial to the overall strength in body, I guarantee all your lifts will go up along side with the deadlift. It just uses everything you have in order to move the weight in that exercise…
Definitely having another person helps as well, the form is more important than anything, a lot ppl don’t realize that if they are lifting incorrectly it will take that much longer for the results as oppose to doing the exercise correctly and feeling each an every contraction… Feeln the muscle is what I’m talkn about which most just move/push the weight!
Congrats on the good progress keep it up bro,
Dave
