Monday, June 30th, 2008First off, I am a very occasional drinker. This weekend I had a bunch of friends down and we went downtown for a solid night, and of course the drinking leads to over-endulgence with foods you would normally not eat. I pride myself on my focus and discipline but some days you need to let go and have some real fun. I was back in the gym the next day doing a heavy workout and lots of cardio to burn off all that junk that I put in my body. Loved the weekend and I love going out, but I do it only for special occasions, you wont see me downtown on a tuesday just for the heck of it. Working out is my addiction and when you decide to put something foriegn into it, it makes you feel bad. All in all I had a great time and now am right back on track.
I leave this friday for Army training fo 6 weeks, fortunately they give you enough down-time to get workouts in which I will be lucky to have, already bought my protein mix and protein bars for the time there and will hopefully not skip a beat.
