monday and tuesday

Well the week is off to a strong start I’ve been pretty exhausted from not having a day off since last tuesday but it hasn’t seemed to affect my workouts.  Monday was great, I did chest and abs. For chest I switched it up from using the BB to DB’s for a while I like it a lot more and feel a better pump.  Then right after I played 2 hours of intense full court basketball til 10:30 and believe me I did not want to get up for work yesterday.  Last night was back and tri’s FST-7 deffinitly keeps the workout intense last week I did seven sets of deadlifts with a thirty secong rest and it killed me so I skipped deadlift this week added T-bar rows along with lat pulldowns, cable rows and then for my seven set exercise did straight arm lat pulldowns which left me feeling destroyed but in a good way. Then for tri’s I did skull crushers, weighted dips and seven sets of tricep pushdowns, it was a great night.

Weekends Suck

Well my legs have felt like jello all day from a great workout on Friday.  I’ve been doing FST-7 for about two weeks and I like it a lot,the best part is the last workout in which you do seven sets, it gives me an awesome pump.  Gym hours on the weekend don’t really work well with my work schedule so that means no gym Saturdays and Sundays which sucks, but I guess it gives me some time to rest.  Tomorrow should be great I usually have the day off so I do Chest and Bi’s then rest for a few hours before basketball but I gotta work this week. So I’m gonna switch it up and do Chest and abs then straight from there for some intense full court basketball for 2 hours. Can’t wait!

Time to make good use of this site

I’ve been using this site for a little over two years and I think it’s about time I put all of it’s resources to good use.  I’m going to begin a clean bulk and starting tomorrow I will update my blog a few times a week lets see how this goes.

Worst Birthday Ever?

I got up pumped for another great day at the gym.  I was looking forward to that more so than anything else even though it was my birthday.  I did back and biceps which went well but when i went to change after i noticed that my stuff in the locker was rearranged. So i checked my wallet and someone took over $200 from it.  But it was probably my own fault seeing as i forgot my lock.  And of course the gym couldn’t do anything about it so im pretty much screwed.  But at least its all over and today is a new day.  Can’t wait to hit the gym again but this time i’ll be sure to bring a lock.

Back and Biceps

After work i went and played some full court basketball with some friends for almost 2 hours and didn’t make it to the gym til 9. And i was feeling kinda tired, but somehow I had a great workout.  All my lifts were intense and i had short resting periods but did just as many reps and sets as usual.  And i felt great when i was leaving and ended up having one of the best nights of sleep i’ve had in a while.

Mind over matter

Over the past few weeks I’ve finally realized that eating healthy isn’t all that hard to do.  After numerous attempts to eat right im finally doing it with no problems I haven’t really craved any fast food or sweets.  I think planning meals ahead really helps because you don’t really have to think about what your going to eat so the thought of having something bad doesn’t really cross your mind.

Pretty Hyped
