Although we had a storm roll though our area this morning that woke me up at 3:30 AM today was a great day at the gym. Did a killer arm workout this morning with HIIT after what a great day. Who says its hard getting to the gym on a rainy cold morning, not this guy!! Ok enough of that. Everyone have a great weekend!

Hello Bodyspace!!
It’s been a while!! Wow I can’t believe how time flies when things start rolling along at a fast pace. I haven’t been as strict as I need to be, I don’t know if it was stress or what not but its time to get back at it. I’ve maintained body composition since the last time I’ve written here however, now its time to get my A$$ in gear.
Training is still happening 5 days a week just a little less focused on diet. Its time to get the focus back concentrate on building muscle and losing fat, time to get back to lifting with a purpose. I’m back let nothing stand in my way!!

Alright so I started phase three of this program I’m on today was leg day are you kidding me. The saying "squat till you puke" really was the theme for this morning. It was a rough morning tried to do cardio after didn’t work out so well. So I’m hitting cardio tonight after work yeah buddy. take care!

Alright today is day 1 of the 3rd month of the rock hard challenge, it absolutely killed me. started chest with high weight low reps then progressed to sets of 20 with 30 seconds rest inbetween sets. It was a killer, after 16 sets of chest and 8 sets of tri’s had to do 60 minutes of cardio. that killed my legs because stubborn me I did the stairs and it was pretty bad. anyway I have legs tomorrow along with another 60 minutes of cardio, can someone please shoot me now? Hope everyone had a great long weekend.!!

well, its been one hell of a journey this year. there have been triumphs and defeats, pesimisim as well as optimism. Its been almost a year since I’ve embarked on this journey of health and fitness. Here’s a little recap. October 2008 I was pretty unhealthy and obese weighing in right around 300#’s with 33% body fat. I found bodyspace joined and the rest is history. Started tracking workouts, getting encouragement from others, pretty much finding a home where you can vent about what’s working what’s not, where you have people to pick you up on your worst days and remind you to DO WORK even if you don’t want to. from october 2008 to August 2009 I’ve lost a total of 83#’s, pound for pound gotten stronger, cut body fat by over 50% I’ve had some great accomplishments but I’m not satisfied. When I started this, my overall goal was to compete in September 2009, however this year its not going to happen, but I’m ok with that, I know I’m not ready just yet next year is surely a go.
Just wanted to throw a thank you out to Bdubdesiel, SteveP78 and the rest of the memebers who’ve helped me on this journey. I apprecaite all the encouraging words and advice. keep it coming it’s crunch time for the next 8 weeks. In 8 weeks i will hit my year anniversary of my decision to get healthy, there’s still work to do so please keep up the encouragment. any competitive atheltes out there that can offer advice please do so. Thanks so much for everything BodySpace has helped me over the last 10 months.

Alright people unusually hungry today and I don’t know why. I’ve eaten about 1100 calories which is normal and drank about a gallon of water so far today, but can’t get over being hungry. My protein intake is 170g, carb intake is about 100g which is a little high but not too bad and yet I’m hungry 20 minutes after i eat. Anyone help?

Alright people its been quite a journey so far I’m almost a memeber of the century club. No I’m not talking about 100 shots of beer in a 100 minutes I’m talking about the destruction of 100 lbs off my body. Looking back on my journey so far its been tough yet very rewarding I’ve put my body through a lot but I’m always wanting more. I think I’ve become more mentally tough than i was in the past even as a football player i don’t think i was this focused and tough. So right now I have 17 more pounds until i reach the century club.
