with my extra carb intake i’ve been holding more water, thus not looking as i would like. last time i weighed myself i was up 2 lbs…water weight. i watch what i eat everyday but still allow myself that one cheat meal, usually on sundays. i think i have a finess disease because i have a hard time relaxing and enjoying this meal.

So i’ve begun to eat more these days. Same healthy foods just in more quantity. I already notice a bit of a difference in my body (lack of muscle definition in my stomach). however, I know that this is going to help me in the long run for when I diet down next year and see more muscle. kind of depressing though.

So I decided I didn’t so much want to cheat too much this weekend. however, I still went out to eat. why is it that no one seems to understand when you ask for no butter, or no mayo, or even no french fries!!! How hard is this people!!!

Hey everyone. It’s almost been a week now since my competition. I really wish I had another to look foward to. I’ve been sleepy all week…guess I am still recuperating from my exciting weekend in Miami. Started a new diet, to put some weight on and work on my muscle tone. Carbs in the morning only is no fun at all!! I am however looking foward to a cheat meal this sunday, I reallllyyyy want cheesecake! but then again, cookies, or……jk…..

With my two WNSO competitions behind me, I am going to start incorporating more food into my diet. I’m still going to count all calories, carbs, fats, and protein and stay within recommended amounts. To prepare for competition I left out some of my favs such as sweet potato and bananas (due to sugar content), cottage cheese, and peanut butter. now that my goal is to add muscle I will begin to eat these again and focus on having my carbs in the morning only. Still only having one cheat meal per week. I also adjusted my workouts. Cardio has been cut down to once per day and I will lift more weight, less rep. We’ll see where this leads me.
