I am currently preparing for Fitness Atlantic at the end of April 2008. I am about 6 weeks out now. I’ve lost about 5-6lbs since beginning of February and we are about mid march right now. If I keep up this rate I do believe I should be about109lbs come competition day. I am certain that my weight gain worked out well for me this winter to help build muscle mass….hopefully I see this when I trim down more. I plan on having one more yummy cheat meal this coming weekend and then will cut out cottage cheese and condiments as well as all fruit…no more prunes (dammit!!) I will be eating way more fish in about two weeks when it gets closer to comp day!

Competition diet is going excellent…It’s already been a month and I feel a difference in my body. I did have a cheat meal last week and let me tell you, as good as it was, I ended up with the worst food hangover! I felt awful…literally. I recently began cardio sessions twice a day and will continue to do this for the remainder of my preparation towards competition.

And we’re off!! twelve weeks out until first competition! Began my diet today which was written out by Chucksm00th, my very handsome ex-fiance…check out his page! Girls, please don’t flirt….I still have an attachment to him. so anyway, I’ll be intaking about 1600 calories daily right now and cycling my carbs. this is a low-fat diet so unfortunately I can no longer have almond butter which had become an addiction for me. So far today, things have gone extreamily well…no cravings! i have to remind myself that food is for fuel, not comfort. I can’t have a cheat meal for three whole weeks. I’m already thinking of where I would want to go since it falls on my bday!!! I want to somehow combine my fav foods all together in one meal….say a thin crust pizza for an appitizer, maybe some sliders (mini burgers), and most definitely some ice cream! cold stone or tcby or baskin robins….to be specific.

Um, ouch! I usually go to the gym with my boyfriend on sundays…it’s great to have someone push you to do more than you usually would. I could have thrown up yesterday. Words of advice….if you want pain and gain, workout with someone who is serious.

Hello 2008! I have one more month to make muscle gains. Come February, I’ll begin preparing for my two competitions in the Spring. I’m giving myself 12 weeks to diet down for my first competition. I don’t usually make new years resolutions…however, i’m going to take this as a goal setting time!! I’m going to push myself this year in all aspects…body and mind. Like i said in 2007….why be ordinary.

Quickly have reached "winter weight"….who says carbs are good??? JK, I knew this would happen. I definitely noticed myself being stronger at the gym, which is great. I’m going to do this food plan to "gain muscle" until beginning of Febuary, after that I am going to slowly trim down due to the fact that I wish to enter into two competitions in the spring 2008. need to start looking for a posing suit!! any suggestions??

Currently I’m having someone work on my "winter diet" to help me stay a bit lean while I am focusing on muscle. Hopefully all goes well with this. Also, I like to have an organized schedule with diet and workout programs…helps me to stay on track and not go ahead mindlessly. I’m not sure how long I’ll be on this particular diet due to the fact that I am planning a trip and would like to be leaner for it. Anyone have any insight of the time I should take between putting weight on and leaning out? I don’t want to be up and down to frequently.

I’ve noticed a strength increase today while at the gym. I worked tris and bis and ended up curling more than i have before. really exciting!

up four lbs since my last competition. having a hard time with the fact that i’ll be softer over the winter. even having a hard time eating more and doing less cardio. Most likely gain about 6-8 more pounds. Lifting heavier at the gym..going to set some weight goals so i have something to work toward.
