Diet Day 11

Today is day 11 of "THE DIET" and so far everything is going well.  I eat every 3 hours or when hungry.  I dont take any protein drinks, I just cant stand them, so as with my last precontest diet, I have to EAT the protein.  Breakfast lunch and dinner and one "snack" are high protein, and my in between meals are South Beach PB Bars (10g protein, 4g fiber, 140 calories) or FiberOne BArs (9g fiber, 2g protein 120 cal).  I am limiting my carbs, but by no means cutting them out.  I will save that fun stuff for about another 4 weeks.  (at about 10-11 weeks out form competition)

If only i had a dietician and a chef….and a personal grocery shopper…..all who lives under roof and met with each other, and all i had to do was bring a fork to the table!

Today…Step 1

So I have decided to take the next steps and get serious about doing another show.  Looks like August 25 in Pittsburgh.  I am 4 months 11 days or so out…so I am on day 3 of the diet.  Going to try to do FIGURE this time, we’ll see what my body looks like in 4 weeks.  My training is good…i am on a "recovery" week.  Next week will be high cardio, light weight hi-rep all around….then the following wil be hard chest and legs and shoulders…lite everywhere else.  I am concentrating on my glutes…as are many wolves in the gym, so I will have 2 a weeks to improve.  Those figure girls gotta have some hard junk back there!   I really think that I can get to a reasonable weight within 10 weeks, so that will leave me enough time to see what the muscle looks like, as I tend to carry muscle and gain it easily.

 Parting thought:

If there is an award for PULLUPS let me know…..i can do them forever…..
