Need some advice!!!
Well, I recently found out that I have to have spinal surgery w/in the next few years and I won’t be able to do anything for 2-3 months and might not be fully recovered for up to a year…not to mention the other risk involved with the surgery. It almost seems worthless to continue to work out when I know in a couple years I’m just going to lose everything I’ve gained and have to start from scratch. I don’t want to sit around and just get fat, but whats the point of going on if I’m just going to have to start over? Anyone have any thoughts?

Hey man, I wouldn’t quit if I was you. I know that it sucks to have to start all over again. If you need to be pushed, ask someone to push you. Just wait for yourself to recover and hit it hard again. Come back twice as strong. Not only will you feel twice as good about yourself, but you might come back better. arnold Schwarzenegger even said it. Muscles have a memory. It might not take long. Just do everything smart and work harder. I don’t think you’d be satisfied if you gave up after that. After knowing what you’ve accomplished. Obviously, don’t go too hard on yourself, but rebuild yourself. Good luck on the surgery, and without barely knowing you, stand behind you.
From one soldier to another, keep your head up.
