Yoga at work
My job can be very sedentary at times. Doing PT on my patient isnt really exercise and though I do a fair amount of lifting I don't count this. Maybe I shoulld. Much time is spent sitting. So I took the advice of Tom Venuto and this is what I did this past week. Instead of sitting I stood for short periods, I paced while I read, also did my yoga that didnt require any floor work, did lunges and weight training warm up exercises several times a day. I felt better, not so stiff from sitting and felt like I was accomplishing something.
Sounds great, you’re feeling better id the best evidence. Try adding this; once an hour push your shoulders back as though you were trying to squeeze your shoulder blades together and suck in your stomach like you’re trying to touch your spinal cord with your belly button. Aside from working your core it will improve posture.
