Well, this is my first time writing a bodyblog, so hello, to anyone reading this.
I have recently decided to get serious about my lifting. For too long I have just been lackadaisical (ohh, big word) about my lifting, just lifting 2 times a week at most.
I have, for the past 2 weeks, looking at my food intake and workout routine, not changing anything...and wow.
I ususally never eat breakfast...so we can skip that...
For lunch I rarely eat a sandwich or something when I am home, I just grab some sweets out of the fridge. The times that I do eat a "real" lunch, I have a Lean Pocket or something. Followed by a small bowl of peanut M&M's. (approx. 60)
For dinner, it is whatever my mom cooks, and she cooks great, and healthy, but I usually don't eat a lot of it, due to constant snacking (Cookies, ice cream, etc...)
I've noticed this for the past few weeks, I am barely active too, besides going to football practice and football lifting once in a while.
I need to shape up, simple enough.
I have, for the past 2 days, changed my eating habits. I no longer eat sweets or anything of the sort, and my rule is: "If its not helping your body repair/refuel/reenergize, its not helping." I have done my old lifting routine, one day Upper, one day lower and back.
I've never felt such an endorphin rush from a leg workout ever .
So, I will be writing in here more often, and keeping a notebook of daily weight, eating habits, and lifting routines/weights.
Wish me luck.
