Blog Entry

September 21, 2009

Well guys, September 19th was the big day, and what a big day it was.  I competed in my first local amature bodybuilding competition and rocked the house.  I won 1st place in my weight division, I competed at 165lbs.  I won 1st Place in the Masters division, ages 25-40.  Finally, I place 1st in free posing.  I can’t believe how far I have come. This weight loss journey and preparation for the contest was at times very hard but I learned so much about myself and what I was made out of, my strengths and weaknesses. This was not just a personal win for me, but it was a win for all of my plus size girls out there.  Listen up girls!!! I lost 113 lbs in 18 months.  IT IS POSSIBLE TO DO IT WITH NO HANGING SKIN!!!  This win was for all of those who are afraid to believe in the greatness that lies within themselves.  Oh the things that can be accomplished when one believes in him/herself.

Yesterday was a great day, a great day indeed!

I DID IT !!!

April 20, 2009

Well guys, I did it.  I met my first weight loss goal of 100 Lbs.  It took 14 months, but I did it.  Damn, I feel good like you knew that I would!!!!   I still need to drop a little more for the competition in September, but that’s nothing, I can loose that weight in my sleep.  I can’t believe that I actually dropped 100 pounds.  When people ask how I lost the weight , I tell them "ONE POUND AT A TIME"!!!
I say that I DID IT, but the truth is, the support that I have been receiving from everyone has been my true motivator and fuel in the gym.

Thank You Guys,
Tischa-

A Change in Competition Date!

April 12, 2009

Hello Everyone,

I just wanted to let all of my supporters, who have been following my progress, know that I will not be competing in this May’s show for a combination of reasons.  However, I still have two other show that I plan to enter.  The first will be on September 19, 2009, and the other is on November 7, 2009. I will keep you posted of any other changes.  Also, check back soon, I will be posting my before pictures @ 276lbs.   I can’t believe how far I’ve come, and how much I have accomplished.  I still can’t get over the overwhelming positive response that I’ve been receiving from everyone.  You guys have got me on cloud nine.  Thank you for all of your support.

This post is dedicated to all my BIG GIRLS out there.!!!  Come on! Lets help each other bring sexy back!

And to my girls Belinda and Ginny, MAAAAAAAADD LOVE !!!

Two pounds short of 100!!!

April 9, 2009

I am almost there.  Two more pounds lost and I would have lost a total of 100 lbs. altogether.  I still can’t believe that I stuck with it long enough to actually get to this point.  I still need to loose about 20 to 25 more pounds before competition,  but after loosing 100 lbs, 25 lbs seems like nothing.  The feedback that I am receiving from everyone is so encouraging and motivating, I owe a large portion of my success to my family, friends, and fans who supported me through this long journey.  Thank you for all of your unwavering support.

Starting the New Year off with a bang!

January 15, 2009

I have started the new year off with bang. No bull S**t!!!  I have been on top of my diet up to the last carb that I consume in a day.  My training in the gym is going very well and I have started the cutting process.  The most difficult part is forming my abs.  I just hope that once I drop these last 25 to 30 pounds that I will finally be able to see that six pack.  This is no game  for me, I will get to the top, I will get that title.

The Road To Ms. Olympia

December 30, 2008

I have never wanted anything more than I do the Ms. Olympia title.  It’s funny because as of a few months ago, bodybuilding was not even in my thought process, but now it consumes me.  The human body, when in shape, Is a beautiful thing to behold.  I love shaping and molding my body.  I feel like an artist creating a master piece.

Although I have just started out on my journey to the Ms. Olympia title, I hope that you will join me throughout all my transformations and winnings.
