Tim, you've been on the bodybuilding stage more times than I have, but I do deep, wide-stanced leg press, squats, good morning, leg curls (seated, and lying-on-stomach), and walking lunges. I also used to long-distance run (raced 3 half-marathons in 2007) with 10- km (6.2-mi) training runs, 2x/wk, 9.25-min/mile pace. Running over-devoloped my hamstrings, and I had to start squatting again last year to restore muscle balance between hamstring and quads (LOL).

I think I may be out of my league here but I have found leg presses with toes just over top edge to help tremendously. Feet high and close with HIT- r just big weight have helped me.
