Went to Dr. today about shoulder.  He did a bunch of movement type tests.  Doesn’t think it’s a serious tear or anything.  Definitely "weightlifter’s shoulder," which is some inflammation and degeneration going on in the a/c joint.  Gave me some cortisone injections and said I should notice an improvement by Monday.  If not he’ll do an MRI and then depending on what it shows, may have to do arthroscopy and shave down the clavicle…  Hoping for the best.  Regardless, I’m now going to try and get away from my mental thing of having to always lift the heavier weights and getting stronger. May be a sign to get more into the bodybuilding/fitness realm than I have been in.

Great back pump.  Good drive.  Increasing weights a little.  I liked the heavy stuff I was doing a couple weeks ago, but I think my body responds better to this kind of workout.  Did a few sets of light benches to test shoulder.  No real discomfort at the weights used, but didn’t want to push it.  Going to doctor today to get first assessment on how bad it may be.  Don’t know if he’ll want to start out with an injection, just tell me to lay off for a while, or send me to a surgeon…  Going to do my best to work around it and not get discouraged, but I hate not working chest and delts like I want to…  Maybe this will be a reason to increase cardio…

Shoulder issues…. Help…

Dr. says it’s weightlifter’s shoulder.  Basically it’s a degeneration of of the a/c joint at the end of the collarbone.  Hurts mostly on bench pressing when I start getting up a little in weight.  Nothing can really be done except maybe a cortizone injection at this point.  Does anyone have some advice or a similar experience?

Good workouts/pumps.  Sucks being injured.  No real delt pain during this workout.  But hate fact have something hurt.  Going to do best to train around it…

Went really light to try and keep getting head/body back into working out.  Good pump, but it was tough… Had to keep pushing self.  Strength really down bad for some reason.  Motivation really down too.  Shoulder bothering right now doesn’t help either…  Trying to muddle through it.
