It’s tough to get back into it

Dear diary… lol..

About 2 years it’s been. I’ve tried to restart going to the gym, but have failed multiple times. I stopped in Dec of 2007 and now It’s Oct 2009. I’m close to 30 lbs lighter and oh boy am I out of shape. I’ve been playing volleyball once a week so I guess I’ve been doing something. I now have a gut, which I did not have, and I think it’s time to do something about it.

My benches are down to maybe a max of 180, squats clearly are down to about 350 and deads.. well.. I think about the same. I now have a dilemma, should I start the same way I did about 3 years ago, which gave me good results (but required logging of food intake and keeping a diary of work-outs) or should I just try and have fun in trying to get back in shape.

So I had the same sensation today like I had 3 years ago, I wanted to puke after the leg work-out and if I keep up with it that feeling should go away maybe in a month. We’ll see if I can do it or not. I’m gonna be a daddy in a few months and I know that if I dont start back on this thing, I won’t after the baby is born. I think it’s the right time to get back in shape.

Gonna try and do the Dorian Yates’ blood and guts all over again. Let’s hope it works.
