So I have been "bulkiing" now for about two months. I gained 5 lbs last month and did not have a change in bodyfat (muscle) I was very happy with that. I am getting stronger each workout and am making some nice gains. Its going to take a while but My goal is to compete one day. I am my own worst critic so I will not make this move until I feel like I look the way (I DREAM OF LOOKING) I have this image and I WILL GET IT!

I am training with Jim Quinn (old school bodybuilder tomorrow) Very excited about learning form him.

I’ll keep ya posted

Hey guys,

I wanted to drop a line and let you know how things are over in TIGHT land. So I had my weight and bodyfat checked 12-27-08. I have a good friend, personal trainer, check all this for me. She usually uses a Scale w/ bio in it and calipers. My last reading said:

Scale (12-27-08)

190.2lbs

9.5% Bodyfat

61.3% H2o

4818 kcal/day

163.6 lean

Calipers

7.3% Bodyfat

I had her check everything yesterday 1-17-09 (about 17 days later). I was recently added into the Elite 12 and Dave Vignasse has helped me change my diet, my cardio plan, supplements, and mind set. So this time the measurements were.

Scale

186.6lbs

8.6% bodyfat

62.0% H2O

4767 kcal/day

162.2lbs lean

Calipers

6.7% Bodyfat

As you can see I have made great inprovements in only about a 2 week span. I am following Dave’s advice to a ‘T’ and expect great things in a few more weeks. I feel like my goals will be reached shortly.

I am still pursuing a modeling career and have been told to get leaner by a promising agent so that is what I am doing right now. It was frustrating at times and I was really having a hard time getting the fat off. I started to talk to Dave via email, phone, bodybuilding PM. He has helped me a lot and its only been a few days. These results have given me confidence in my new diet plan, and routine and also in myself and my body. I feel great and am starting to really change my appearance.

Patience:

Reaching the goals that I set for myself is frustrating at times and can be like a double-edged sword. I have always been an athlete and have always had muscle. I am at a point where the weights that I am lifting don’t matter and its more about my appearance, my abs, cutz in my arms and shoulders, good calves. These are the things fitness modeling agents want to see. They dont even care about the #’s (bodyfat, weight…) They want u a certain way and THATS THAT. I have patience and seeing my results and change in body has me me HUNGRY.. I am so confident I will reach my goal of 180-182lbs and 5%bf. I was hoping to hit this mark by my 25th birthday (March 22nd). I have plenty of time to lose the weight/fat slowly and do it right. I want to be a freak! SHREDDED FROM HEAD TO TOE.

Promotion

Dave Vignasse

Brett123 (bodyspace)

If you want serious nutrition advice and help with your supplement rotation and workout regime HIT HIM UP.. Seriously I already spoke of Him and how in this short amount of time he has helped me. I wouldn’t lie to you. Dave has taken the time to creat the Elite 12 b/c there are SADLY, guys out there taking people’s money and not giving them what they are paying for. Dave is a natural bodybuilder, been in magz, won contests/shows, etc… Look at his space- Proof is in the Pudding people. Anyways thats my advice to you guys.

MY TURN..

I’m going to be in the TYRA BANKS show this Wednesday. I applied for it b/c its about unusual eating habits. I, like the rest of bodyspace don’t think the way we live is weird or unusual but "normal" people do. I mean the 6-8 meals a day every 2-3 hrs, the weighing and measuring of food, the supplementing, the healthy fats, etc..

I went on the show and TYRA interviewed me for a short period of time, I got one of my pics up and even got a response from TYRA herself. I am trying to make it any way possible and know that I will. Any kind of exposure is good, I’ll take what I can get.

For anyone reading this and ur in a rut or don’t think you can do it… U CAN! You are the only person that can hold U back. If you don’t believe me type in my name (John Rahn) in the article section. My transfromation is in there. CHECK IT OUT! I have been rejected more than a 4′11" guy going up against SHAQ but guess what I’m still PUSHING (P.U.S.H. Pray Until Something Happens)

U can make it, Don’t give up. Let the man in the mirror know the plan and stick wit it.

pz out guys

Dave, I’ll catch up with you for anynew tips/changes I should be making. FEELING GOOD!

Hey there,

I’m writing this in regards to the newest bodygroup on bodybuliding.com. The ELITE 12. With the help of brett123 (Dave Vignasse) I am going to reach my goals and transform my body through proper nutrition, weight training, and cardio. I just spoke to Dave and he opened my eyes to the world of supplements (the truths), lifting, and most importantly nutrition. His meal plan (based on my goals and physical stats) is on point and I am adhering to it. I was motivated by Dave and his knowledge of the subjects we spoke about; supplements, weight training, cardio, and nutrition. He is very educated and knows what success is all about. LOOK AT HIM,he is fitness.

I wrote this b/c I want to first and foremost Thank Dave for his time, advice, help, knowledge, and kindness. He wants us to succeed, to be the best we can be, and to be HAPPY with the outcome.

Dave,

I’m in. Proud to be in the group. Gonna bust my ass to get what i want and deserve. Thanks BROTHER,,

So I think a lot, as most of us do. I think about life and the things I want to accomplish most. I have set goals that sometimes seem impossible. I want to reach a level that not many can achieve. I want to be healthy, happy, in love, relaxed, and succesful, all at the same time. I am 24 years old and know that the things I stress about seem too be a little far fetched for a guy like me to think about but I guess you can say I’ve learned from good teachers along the way and know that hard work is the only way to accomplish anything. My goal to become a fitness model is still in the air but my goal to be in the best shape of my life is becoming more of PRIORITY… I have been rejected from agents and came back to them a changed person. I look in the mirror and see a different face everyday. Somedays its accomplished and proud, others is frustrated and disappointed. I know patience is the key. The rejection I can live with, its the unsatisfaction I feel, the inadequecy. I don’t see what others see in. I look in the mirror and think change…. I can say one thing, "MY HEAD IS NEVER DOWN." I am not going to be defeated by anyone, any piece of glass, any set of eyes.. I AM WHAT I AM!

My goals have become more personal and accomplishing them is what I owe myself.

The good Lord gave us mountains so we can learn how to climb. ALways see the top and reach for it everyday, when you get there say, THANK YOU! Than show em what you got…

Hey there,

Well here I am. My name is John Rahn and I am 24 years old. I Graduated from Binghamton University 2007 and dicided that a changed of lifestyle was what I needed. I was an athlete all my life, played two years of college basketball before hanging up the kicks. I was always in pretty good shape. I started lifting weights when I was in high school thanks to my brother always pushing me a round in the driveway and saying "Get big BITCH!" HAHA.. What a dick. Ehh well he was my motivation. I set my goals high in highschool and knew I wanted to play college basketball. I worked hard and did!

When my hoops career ended so did my cardio regimine… To say the least. I never liked doing cardio but ballin always ‘made’ you run. I When it ended I changed colleges and started being a "normal" college guy. I was partying and eating bad. I was still lifting though, and hard. I put on some serious size in school. I got my self up to 230lbs. Obviously wit a slight guy. I can pull off a tummy, I got the height. I hated it though.

I needed a change and wanted to look like the guys in every magazine I read. I am not talking about the Cutlers, Colemans, FREAKS!! ( I respect them though-great competitors) I wanted the lean and muscular look, you know the one the chix dig.. So I graduated January 2007 and decided March 2007 was my month to start the process. March is my birthday month so I figured for my 23rd birthday I would "REFOCUS & MAKE IT HAPPEN."

Well I started reading my fitness magazines and looking for supplements to use. I was alwasy a big fan of Hydroxy cut, so I got my self some and a few other things that would help me along the way. I had my protein, creatine, multi, fish oils, etc… I Knew a fair amount about the cutting process but the major and key aspect was still vague to me. THE DIETING/NUTRITION OF IT ALL!!! I had the South Beach Diet in my hand. This diet worked for me one summer before I went back to school, like I said, " I knew a fair amount about what I was doing. So I went with the Soth Beach Diet 9 the first two weeks program, its the toughest but I wanted results). I was not a patient guy. I lost weight and fast. I went from 230-200 in about three months time. I was eating 6 meals a day (very small). I was for sure not getting all my nutrients in and definately not getting enought protein. I had to say thought I was looking cut and people were noticing. They actually noticed so much that I got told, "You should try modeling." AHHH..! That statement~changed my life. I said hey maybe I should! I contacted an agent and got some pics, Those pics got me to meet with another agent. This agent wanted me to attend a convention in NYC, known as the IMTA (International Modeling and Talent Association 2007). I was going to be their fitness model. I was psyched and knew that I could accomplish this and maybe even get noticed by some serious modeling agencies. My diet and exercise went up, I needed to get into great shape and fast. I got some books from Men’s HEALTH, One was about Nutrition and the I started eating less.. BIG MISTAKE~I KNOW… I lost more wieght, I got to 182lbs. I am 6′3" and haven’t been that light since fresh yr high school.
