G'Day

I was at a similar point in early April after approx 3 good months of good gains - it's frustrating when you give it your all and things don't go as per target. Since then I have managed to gain 7lbs of weight back and lift heavier.

My tips would be to re-assess your diet, ensure you a getting the right protein and carb mix into the system - a lack of carbs zaps your energy level. Also, restructure your trainining weekly and introduce new exercises, this tricks the body and amps the motivaton.

Also, I reviewed all my supplement range as my focus shifted - check out my blog to see what I did /training journal if you need any ideas.

Good luck with it and also agree with the above comment and don't place too hard expectations - achieve results in smaller tranches.

Good luck with it and let me know if I can be of help.

Yo brotha! I think you need to set small goals for yourself! Decide whether you want to pack on some muscle or shed the fat. You can't do both at the same time so start from there. Once you decide then try and set a goal of 4-5lbs in a month, either gain or losing. Once you accomplish short term goals you get a sense of satisfaction and the motivation comes! Sounds like you hit a wall so give it a shot and tell me what you think!

I actually just left a message just like this...usually what does it for me is browsing through this website and seeing all the changes people make. Talk yourself up..I know it sounds cheesy, but I just heard that actually saying out loud that you are going to do something makes you a ton more successful at it..proven scientifically...so all that "I can do it...I will make change..." It makes it happen.

You are taking steps and dont get down when you have a bad week...EVERYONE has them...Its about changing over time...and as long as you dont give up, you'll get to where you're headed. :0) Stay positive and dont beat yourself up mentally over bad days and lack of motivation. It will resurface again and when it does..hit those muscles harder and relish every second of it..Good luck! :0) I look forward to seeing more progress from you!
