chest routine, interesting!
Decided to BB BP today. Took a bit of prodding and whatnot. Plus, the benches were all in use. We only have three benches for flat bench for BBs; one for incline. I had to wait for a bench. In doing so, this is what I did.
Machine Shoulder Military Press 2×6x90; 2×6x100
Machine Chest Press 2×6x100; 2×6x110
BB BP 1×5x45;1×3x65;1×6x65;1×5x65
Machine Incl. BP 3×5x60
Pec Dec 2×5x110; 1×3x140
DB Hammer Curls 1×8x25;2×8x30
DB Shrugs 2×10x35;2×10x45
Hanging Leg Raises 2×10x170
Bicycle Kicks 2×10x170
My comments:
Things went as expected. No complaints! Still trying to figure what I am doing wrong on BB BP. I felt the BB BP in the right pec slightly. Feel as though I am not getting enough power from my base. Also, I am unsure about placement of bar as I bench. Pec flies burned like heck, managed 140×3. Couldn’t seem to get the last 2 reps in, oh well! On DB shrugs, shoulders burned!
I think I have an idea as to what my problem(s) are when BB BP:
Two things, no power from the base, legs, shoulders. Second, not sure where to place the bar when benching. Let me give more detail about this one. I mean that I don’t put the bar in the same place twice when benching. First time out, I go mid-chest; next few times I go just below the pecs. Also, think I just maybe too tall for BB BP.
Any advice, comments, suggestions?

yeah, you have a bb bp problem, you should be pushing up a lot more according to the other excercises.
aim for the nipples. pause and squeeze the pecs and then push up.
I find it helps to aim my forehead under the bar when it is on the rack, then the lift off doesn’t take so much energy.
hands should be shoulder width, maybe and inch or two more, wide.

Awesome brosive. Way to work the entire body. It sounds like you have great concentration in your routine as well, that is Key, Arnold always emphasised concentration so keep with it!

Real nice stats w/ exception of that evil BP. Take the guys advice under me and just continue with it. Good job and keep up the hard work.

personally, i like to bench so that the bar touches my chest at nipple level. what might help you during bb bench is angling your arms and sorta tucking them into your body.
