tired part 2!

I have been lifting now since Jan. Using the 5×5 prog. seeing some progress but not like I think it should be. At the moment, I am staying away from supplements becuase I want to see how my body reacts without them. Since I got off the supps. I gained 3 lbs. in 2 wks. As of now, I am stagnant in weight; still seeing gains as far as lifting goes. Should I just lift heavier? Or change something in my routine altogether? Was thinking about changing my chest routine to the following:

DB incline bench 2-3 sets x 8 ;
pec deck 2 sets x 8

Any suggestions, comments, etc? All comments will be taken into consideration.

    your workouts are probably not intense enough. the sample chest routine you posted is far too short. also your current program of 5X5 is designed to increase muscular strength. i would suggest switching to 3-4 sets of 10 reps on each workout if your goal is size and definition. you could also alternate between light and heavy days to get both sides of the spectrum. always remember man intensity is key. you get out of a workout what you put in. if you would like me to make a sample workout just pm me. good luck!

    what he said, the workout is far to short and you need to up the reps to 8-12 per set. Thats just a warm up man.

    a good chest workout would be 3-4 sets of incline db, 3-4 sets of flat bench bb, 3 sets of dips (lower chest) 2-3 sets of decline db or bb, some sort fo peckdeck or fly, for high reps, and maybe one machine to finish it (machine optional). switch it up too, like the next week start off mabe w. incline bb bench and then flat db press etc. great work though man keep it up, good luck..
