Boy was it chilly this morning! Mid 20s or so, I had to pullout my real winter coat (with the fur in the inside ). I don’t really like 6am workouts b/c they seem so rushed. Perhaps a good thing today b/c I did legs & was having a pretty hard time. The knee just feels weird
- Ham curls w/ ball 2×50
- Walking, front-back-left-right w/ resistance band around ankles ???
- Walking lunges ???
- Squats 2×25
- Extensions 2x?
- Step Ups 2×25
- Reverse lunges 2×25
- Split Leg Squats 2×25
Now this looks odd. There were too many of us in one big circuit. I will do something a bit more structured tonight to make sure I don’t neglect anything. I had fun teasing & fighting MsJai and talking noise to Marama –who cursed at everyone b/c she’s out of shape. Someone commented that I don’t look as big & swole as I did a few weeks ago. All lies, I’m sure the scale begs to differ.
I am tracking calories now, although I am a bit embarrassed to post yesterdays…
823 cals 18%fat, 22% carbs, 60% protein
I’m not trying to starve myself, I thought I ate more. I’ll add another thousand today! I also trained chest, light triceps, and walked on an incline for 20 minutes last night.

Trained like a FREAK today! HEAVY chest & shoulder/back super-sets!!!!I hate to say it but I was 1 set away for qualifying to post in the “Blowing Chunks” thread. It was so much friggin fun!!!!!!!!! Bench press, pass failure up to 225.. DB Press, pass failure up to…can’t remember if I stopped at 50s or 60s..
I’m still pumped…

It’s a sad day in southern hip hop. Though not exactly a mainstream artist, Pimp C is Texas a legend & will be deeply missed..

I tried my BEST to work up a sweat on the bike. I guess hard to do w/ no resistance in a cold gym  …
- Bike 25 min
- Calves! I can do them! Standing Raises (smith) & seated extensions. Lots of sets & reps!! I was on a roll. Almost drove across town to a Donkey Calf Raise machine
- Triceps Extensions 1×50

- ABS! lots of them but spent too much time explaining to Shaq & Ced why I was making so many noises
Just can’t move like I could 20lbs ago…
I’m so confused on training…
Should I do an upper body split? How many sets/reps? Should I do full upper workouts..How many days per week? Heavy/offseason stuff? Or keep it moderate & maintain until I’m able to train legs? My arms are very large! Should I train them at all? Should I do 1 high rep set? I don’t wanna look like I just got out of the PEN (penitentiary) I.e. Jacked up top w/ no legs…
Don’t mind me… Just questions running through my mind…
Hadn’t counted A calorie since Thanksgiving….

I say the same prayer every morning when I get in the office…
My heavenly father, as I enter this workplace, I bring your presence with me…Give me a fresh supply of strength to do my job…When I am burned out, infuse me with the light…
I am too young to have to put up with the crap that I put up with at work. To make a long story short, I work with obese, menopausal, depressed white women all 15-30 years older than me…an office full of HATERS. It’s all GOOD though!!! My days here are numbered. Must get away before they began to rub off!

Guess what I did at rehab????????? LEG PRESS!!!!!!!! YEA BABY! AND I RODE THE BIKE FOR 15 minutes!!! I walked out of there with the biggest smile on my face …even though, I had to pay the 20% insurance didn’t cover .

I did much better with my diet today…got VERY out of control with honey roasted cashews though. I finished the can so they shouldn’t be a problem anymore

I try to continuously remind myself this healing process will take TIME, it just sucks watching my legs turn to mush… My therapist put me on the bike for 10 minutes yesterday :-D I was too excited!!!
6am workout:

I had a good 6am shoulder & back workout Friday. Picked it up a little bit, weights were moderate. Supersets!!!
The pump felt great!!!
DB Press (drop set) 4×10-4×15//Lateral Raise (cable) 4×20
ISO lateral row 4×20// DB lat/front raise 4×10
Shoulder Press (smith) 4×8/Pull down (underhand) 4×10
Ofcourse no training 2day. Except for all the walking/standing I did at Nationals. We went to Black Eyed Pea in between pre-judging & finals. I was a good girl - ordered chicken breast, green beans, black-eyed peas. Kendra forced me to split a roll w/ her
I’m done eating crazy. I’ve had my fun. Diet is starting Monday!
I hadn’t been on the scale in at least a month, so I decided to go for it & take my measurements Friday. It was interesting. I’m having mixed emotions about it. one hundred fifty two. I’m holding it well…I guess. It’s distributed evenly throughout my body. My butt isn’t HUGE, i don’t have hips, no abs ofcourse but my belly is still flat…I’m just THICK! I’m not too worried, but it has to come off! I knew I caused major damage w/ the binging I did after the surgery, combined w/ no cardio in almost 3 months. But that number is very scary to me
A few other things I’m a bit concerned about…
i. my right quad is almost 2 inches smaller then the left. normal i guess due to the surgey but it bothers me…
ii. my arms are freakin huge!!! they’ve always been big but i know i’m not supposed to have 15″ biceps. not good
I think I’ll take pics tomorrow. I have quite the transformation ahead…

I hit the gym briefly this evening…
haven’t been this soft & weak in a while:(
…didn’t do much at all<u />…
Pushups 4×20
DB bench press 4×12
DB flyes 4×12
Incline Press 4×12
(My arms were so mushy I felt compelled to do something…)
Cable Curls 2×20
ABS
I took about 30 minutes to work my knee
- 10min - Quad sets
- 5min - Heel Slides
- A hip exercise - (can’t think of the name). U just lie on your side w/ knees bent & feet together. Then open & close your knees - keeping your hips forward & feet together the whole time. I tried for 30 reps but my hip gave out…
- cone walk!!!!!!!
I ate clean at work throughout the day BUT had a Subway sandwich & cookie for dinner :D

No training.
60 minute Rehab: Swelling is down and my pimp walk (some call it a limp) is much better. The ‘cone walk’ works wonders!!!!!
Let’s see… what did I eat…
1. sugar/fat free Caramel Macchiato, Oatmeal
2. Myoplex Chocolate Cream Shake, Apple, bite size butterfinger
3. Chicken breast, bite size snickers
4. Chck breast, sweet potato, Greens!
