Day 5 of the New Plan
So far so good. Aside from a night out with a friend drinking a few beers, I have been good about sticking with clean food, getting my workouts in and running intervals. I did a very heavy leg, biceps, back workout Wednesday, and I can still barely walk. Since 2 of my gym days are cardio, I made yesterday cardio day and ran my intervals training for the 5k in Nov. It was painful, but I got it done. I did a killer chest, shoulder, tri’s, ab workout today! Tomorrow is my second cardio day, so I am hoping my legs will be a little more loose.
The program that I am on now has me doing 1 leg-bicep-back day for every 2 chest-tri’s-shoulders-abs days. Does that sound good to you? Just curious. So far it seems to be working.

Hope those leggies bounce back for your run Steve. I hit legs this morning, so I’ll be major sore tomorrow (I hope).
I can’t really give you input on the routine. I do upperbody splits, and do cardio afterwards. On leg day, I don’t do cardio. Currently, I hit everything once per week. Sometimes I change it up to hit the upperbody muscles every 4-5 days instead of every 7. Have a great weekend.
