Thumbs up Steve-O. I haven't personally suffered a major health scare, but I do have scoliosis. Working out regularly has brought major quality of life improvement. My lower back used to be sore &amp; ache ALL THE TIME. Now, it rarely does, except on leg day workouts. But my parents are a motivator for me to keep at it with the early AM exercise. Both my parents had very lower quality of life, IMO, the last 10 yrs of their lives. Declining health, less mobility, hospitalizations, etc. All this could have been prevented or mitigated if they had better diets &amp; kept active. I don't want to follow their path &amp; put my daughters through all that. Esp since I didn't have kids til around age 40. I'm gonna be working out, eating right, hiking, biking, walking, etc. in my 70's &amp; 80's. :D
